Wooyoung woke up with a small yawn, looking up at the stars that were on the ceiling. He closed his eyes, snuggling his pillow, thinking that he was dreaming. He slept for a good while more, his smile growing when he finally did wake up. So that's what the rain was about.
Wooyoung squealed quietly, wishing he was hugging San instead of his pillow. He turned on his back looking at the stars again. He smiled, reaching out to touch one of them, realizing that he wasn't dreaming. He shot up, when the star danced around him, returning to its spot.
They were real???
"Hi," Seonghwa said, catching Wooyoung's attention. Seonghwa was sitting in the corner, reading a book, looking adorable. Wooyoung had no idea why he wasn't spooked, feeling relief that Seonghwa was with him. "Hi hyung," Wooyoung said, not leaving the comfort of his blanket. "Did you sleep well?" Seonghwa asked, putting his book down. Wooyoung nodded, smiling as the rain continued to fall outside. "One of the best naps of my life," Wooyoung said, Seonghwa smiling. Wooyoung found it funny how they weren't awkward around each other, Wooyoung getting up to make his bed.
"Hyung, are they -" Wooyoung said, pointing to the stars. "Real? Yup," Seonghwa said, helping Wooyoung. "How did San-" Wooyoung began, Seonghwa shrugging. "He's really powerful," Seonghwa said, plainly not wanting to get into details since he'd cry. San finally found the love he wanted and Seonghwa had a feeling the stars weren't enough.
"How long was I asleep?" Wooyoung asked, his sleepiness deciding not to leave him alone. "An hour or so," Seonghwa said, walking to the closet. He grabbed a hoodie for Wooyoung to make up for the absence of his blanket, handing it to him. "Thank yooou," Wooyoung said, putting the hoodie on.
"The rain is lovely isn't it?" Seonghwa asked, Wooyoung blushing lightly as he looked at it. "It is," Wooyoung said, Seonghwa smiling. "I hope the rain tomorrow will be more lovely," Seonghwa said, Wooyoung looking at him. Wooyoung found Seonghwa's smile a bit threatening, smiling back even though he was kinda scared. The stars around them danced, Seonghwa looking up at them with a smile.
"Want to go see what everyone's up too?" Seonghwa asked, not letting Wooyoung ask about tomorrow's rain. San had to see it for himself, so he wouldn't spoil it. Even though telling Wooyoung wouldn't change anything. Wooyoung followed Seonghwa to the doorway, his hands in his pocket. He looked at the stars that followed him, stopping when he did.
"You can uh- please be comfortable," Wooyoung said, not sure what to do with the stars. He didn't even know stars could be like this. The stars went back to their spots, some switching, and lighting up the room various colors. Wooyoung felt like staying, turning to Seonghwa. "You go ahead, hyung," Wooyoung said, Seonghwa looking at him.
"I want to watch the stars for a while," Wooyoung said, not seeing the way the stars danced behind him again. Seonghwa smiled, waving as he left. Damn these two could win couple of the year without even being apart of the nominees list. "Call me if you need anything," Seonghwa said, happy that Wooyoung didn't ask why he was there. Could he have already known?
Seonghwa shrugged, making his way to the pool area where he heard splashing, sitting next to Hongjoong. "I hate you," Seonghwa said, Hongjoong already looking at him. "What did I do this time?" Hongjoong asked, Seonghwa pouring himself a drink. "You never gave me the stars," Seonghwa said, feeling a hint of jealousy. Wooyoung got the stars, and he got ditched for a promotion.
"Why give you something you already have?" Hongjoong asked, genuinely confused. Seonghwa looked at him, Hongjoong staring at him for a response. "I don't have the stars," Seonghwa said, wondering if Hongjoong didn't remember the times they were together. "Have you tried looking for them in your eyes?" Hongjoong asked, thinking that Seonghwa already knew this.
