~•~•~•~ WARNINGS: Mentions of blood and burning ~•~•~•~

Seonghwa heard a knock at the door, opening his eyes halfway. He was in too much pain to even call out for help, thankful that somebody showed up. "May I come in?" Seonghwa heard Hongjoong ask. "Yeah," Seonghwa mumbled, having barely closed his eyes. His spine felt like it was breaking, Seonghwa not being able to ignore the pain to get some sleep. Hongjoong walked in, seeing Seonghwa laying down with his hair messed up, buried deep under a pile of blankets. He looked so cute, Hongjoong couldn't help but smile.

"Are you cold? Want me to get the heater?" Hongjoong asked, Seonghwa shaking his head no. "My back hurts," Seonghwa said, Hongjoong's smile falling. He a millisecond away from calling Yeosang, stopping when he heard Seonghwa talk. "Could you massage it for me?" Seonghwa asked. He was in too much pain and Yeosang wasn't around to help. Hongjoong gulped not having been near Seonghwa's wings in what felt like forever. This was by far the most progress they've made right after Seonghwa stopped calling him Mr. Kim.

"Yeah," Hongjoong said, Seonghwa rolling onto his stomach. Seonghwa had a split second of regret, wishing he had never asked Hongjoong when the other sat next to him on the bed. Seonghwa bit his lip, feeling the pain subside when Hongjoong rubbed his back, his sliding up then down then to the sides. He hugged his pillow closer, biting his lip when Hongjoong pressed down too hard. "Sorry," Hongjoong said, gently making circles with his thumb. "You did it on purpose," Seonghwa mumbled, knowing that Hongjoong didn't. He still remembered how to massage him to avoid hurting his wings.

"Is it still -" Hongjoong began, going quiet when he thought about that night. "It's getting better," Seonghwa said, closing his eyes. "Are you -" Seonghwa began, Hongjoong humming. "It's getting better," Hongjoong said, Seonghwa humming in response. Well this was awkward all of sudden. Hongjoong felt Seonghwa become more comfortable, relaxing more as the pain grew tolerable.

"Thank you," Seonghwa said, Hongjoong smiling as he got up. "Anytime," Hongjoong said, grabbing what he had come into the room for. "Did you want to come watch a drama with us? It could help take your mind off the pain some more," Hongjoong offered. Seonghwa considered for it second, his head buried in a pillow. He raised his hand, Hongjoong walking over to help him up.

"Bring a blanket for me?" Seonghwa asked, deciding to cross the imaginary line he drew for himself. He could pretend nothing ever changed between them for a day. Or an hour. Hongjoong smiled, grabbing a blanket and a pillow for Seonghwa, making him smile. "I'll see you downstairs," Hongjoong said, leaving in case Seonghwa wanted to change. He tended to wear thin pajamas or backless ones as far as he could remember. Whenever he thought he was alone at least.

Seonghwa followed Hongjoong's eyes to his abs, looking back up at him with a small smile. Cute. Hongjoong left with a light blush on his cheeks, Seonghwa walking over to grab one of Yeosang's hoodies. He was debating if he should check up on the other, but he seemed more at ease with Jongho.

Frankly he seemed way too shaken up after Hongjoong almost drowned and he almost got murdered entirely. Being with Jongho was good for him. Seonghwa sighed, still hating how he was feeling jealous of Jongho. He opened the door walking out into the hallway, looking down at everyone sitting in the living room with their mouths wide open.

Must have been another thriller.

Seonghwa smiled, shaking his head as he looked at Wooyoung and San's room. A sudden feeling washed over him that made it hard for him to breathe, Seonghwa listening to it. Seonghwa walked to the door, raising his hand to knock. He had to check on the two. He knocked on the bedroom wall before walking in. It didn't look like he was going to get a response. Seonghwa opened the door quietly, looking around the room. He didn't feel the need to use his dagger not seeing anyone or anything threatening.
