"I'm sorry you guys, I didn't know it was closed today." Yeonjun said, all of them walking back a little sad as they decided to go the gaming place some other day instead. Mingi and Jongho both gave him a hug, Wooyoung joining as they all walked inside.
"We're the ones who took you out without asking." Yunho said apologetically, as they all sat in the living room. "Nah I should have planned a better trip." Yeonjun pouted, everyone patting him on the back. "It's been great so far, don't say that." San said, hoping that made Yeonjun feel better as the other smiled.
"I feel hungry after this defeat." Yeonjun said, with a sigh as he head to the kitchen. "Are you guys okay with sandwiches? Or should I order food?" Yeonjun asked, trying to be a good host.
"I think we're all good with sandwiches." Mingi said, everyone agreeing as Wooyoung smiled and walked to the kitchen too. "I'll help." Wooyoung said, Yeonjun pouting as he nodded, getting the ingredients. San walked over to help, using his powers to make sandwiches when no one was looking, Yeosang snorted being the only to see San as he walked over to help too, as everyone sat in the living room.
"How come you never brought us here?" Wooyoung asked, Yeonjun shrugging as he passed Wooyoung some mayo. "I'm not sure, you guys usually don't get a vacation and I'm not in Korea." Yeonjun said, truthfully, as he took a bite out of the sandwich with a smile. "But I'll make sure to leave the keys with you guys next time." Yeonjun said.
"Thank you hyung, I wouldn't mind being here." Jongho said, Wooyoung holding out a sandwich for San who took a small bite. "Of course! Ask for anything at anytime." Yeonjun said, smiling as he walked over to hug Jongho for a second.
"A PS5?." Mingi asked, Yunho slapping him for making such a bad joke as Yeonjun respectfully made a finger heart with his middle finger for Mingi making Jongho and Yunho laugh too. Seonghwa looked confused as Hongjoong smiled, shaking his head resting on the couch.
"Oh there's a small lake nearby that we can visit if you guys want to go boat riding," Yeonjun said, looking at San who was looking at Wooyoung with love dripping from his eyes. "That sounds great as long as I'm not rowing." Jongho said, Wooyoung looking up at him.
"Jongho we were all counting on you." Wooyoung said in a sad tone, making San smile as he looked at Jongho who sighed. "Of course. I won't let you down hyung." Jongho said, Wooyoung smiling as he winked at him. Mingi smiled too, his smile falling when he looked at Yunho as he got a little worried.
Yunho had gone out last night and he didn't come back till the morning saying it was work but he knew that couldn't be it. He was acting normal but it was almost like he was too normal. Yunho opened his eyes looking up at Mingi as he smiled and got up, Mingi making him rest his head on his shoulder as he kissed his forehead.
"Let's have the sandwiches by the lake, like a picnic." Jongho suggested, Yeosang agreeing as Yeonjun was already looking for a picnic basket.
"Do you guys mind if I stay and take a nap?" Wooyoung asked, not sharing how he was up all night tossing and turning wondering if two years of being in the US had changed Yeonjun or if he was still the same.
Yeonjun wasn't bad at all, ever, in fact he always went out of his way to make sure they were okay, was sweet, caring and hecka observant but Wooyoung couldn't help but worry.
"Nope, just make sure you take a phat nap." Yeosang said, giving him a side hug. "I'll make sure San is okay." Yeosang whispered, Wooyoung smiling at him.
"I'm going to go look at something for us if that's okay." Hongjoong said, wanting to have his own surprise for his friends as he smiled. "Sure thing hyung, but don't go looking for trouble." Yeonjun said, everyone smiling.
