Hong Jia Yi looked at Liang Meng Yao intensely. Liang Meng Yao, who felt the stare, turned uneasily.

"Is something the matter?" he asked Hong Jia Yi.

"Um.... Yao..." Hong Jia Yi wasn't sure how to ask the question on his mind.

"Yaoyao or just yao - that's something my father used to call me. I haven't heard it in such a long time," he said smiling nostalgically.

"Yao," Hong Jia Yi said again, softly.

"Yes, jiajia?" he grinned widely as he replied.

"When are you... um planning on consummating the um... marriage," Hong Jia Yi asked nervously.

Liang Meng Yao immediately turned and held his face to hide his flustered expression. This action offended Hong Jia Yi, making him felt even more insecure.

Liang Meng Yao has been a virgin for nineteen years. He has never been swayed or moved by any woman. He fantasized about sex, like any teenager or young adult - who doesn't think about sex in their life? If there is such a person he'd like to meet them because he doesn't believe it. Liang Meng Yao reined in his embarrassment and began thinking seriously about how to answer Hong Jia Yi's question. He is not a person who just has sex without considering the consequences. Having a child in their situation could be risky. He could have asked the doctor for the birth control medicine, but he doesn't trust that old man and couldn't trust him even if he tried. Liang Meng Yao had decided no sex but that was easier said than done. It's not easy controlling your urges when you are looking at the kind of person you find attractive every day. He had been trying not to think of sex but now Hong Jia Yi is asking for sex, making everything that much harder.

"You want to consummate the marriage?" Liang Meng Yao asked.

"Yes I do but if you don't want to, I won't insist," Hong Jia Yi said, dejection covering his face.

Liang Meng Yao sighed heavily. Maybe he shouldn't worry so much...

"Three days," he told Hong Jia Yi as he made a decision.

"Huh?"

"Three days from now - after we get the money - we can consummate our marriage," he said with a blush.

Hong Jia Yi nodded in agreement.

"I didn't know you wanted to do it with me," Liang Meng Yao added.

Hong Jia Yi tilted his head in confusion.

"Why wouldn't I?" Hong Jia Yi asked.

"Well back home people don't marry stranger, unless it's a business arrangement, but even then you would have some idea of who you are marrying," he sighed. "I thought you'd be uncomfortable with us being intimate with our situation," he explained.

"Our situation?" Hong Jia Yi said.

"Well, I wanted to make sure we were in the best of situation so if you get pregnant, we wouldn't have anything to worry about."

Hong Jia Yi felt a bit guilty as he realized that Liang Meng Yao had been being considerate. He felt bad now for not being patient. Now he could understand that Liang Meng Yao was just being cautious.

"So it's not because I'm unattractive?" Hong Jia Yi asked, still feeling insecure.

Liang Meng Yao blushed. Was Hong Jia Yi being serious? He looked into Hong Jia Yi's eyes with a solemn expression, his cheeks still flushed.

"You're plenty attractive to me. Er, maybe I should show it more?" he assured Hong Jia Yi.

"I thought you were interested in beautiful she-men like Fa Enlai."

Liang Meng Yao looked at Hong Jia Yi blankly. Thinking about it made him feel a bit uncomfortable. He didn't find it disgusting or anything, he was just uninterested. Seeing Fa Enlai was like seeing a girl and he wasn't interested in girls. They can be good friends, yes, but relationship-wise... he can't do it.

He held his head in distress before responding.

"Aiya, they aren't my type - they just aren't enticing," he shared.

Hong Jia Yi worried that he had somehow offended Liang Meng Yao. Never had he seen a person's eyes became so passionless so quick. He wondered what kind of beauties Liang Meng Yao's home produced that he couldn't be attracted to someone as pretty as Fa Enlai.

"I see so - um, what should we do now?"

This was why Liang Meng Yao liked Hong Jia Yi so much. He was so straight forward. He didn't beat around the bush or cause any misunderstandings. This was what he had always looked for in a lover. Liang Meng Yao smiled.

"We might not be ready to have sex but that doesn't mean we can't do other things," he offered cheerfully.

"Hmm?"

Liang Meng Yao pushed him to lie down then went on top of him, kissing Hong Jia Yi passionately.
