A Poem's Depression

Whispered poems screamed for help
'Cause howling in the dark seemed strange and unfelt

It shouted for life, as the fog ate its direction
As it grieved, a stranger that gave away familiarity came
And hummed to its downfall

The lamplight seem to converge
With the steady beat of sadness
In the poems plead
For guidance

But, stranger and stranger did it distance away
From the compass it fled
And we knew the touch was far
But the poem thought it was long known

Nights go by, and day arises
The poem with the stranger
Exchange glances to each other
Stars scatter away, and light brightens
The poem, each day, grew weaker
And weaker

And the poem perished, and the whispers within it
The stranger did nothing, but walk away and chuckle

There're people who pretends to care, //k.u.
