You're an earthquake that displaced the pieces of my heart;

You shook me with the faint shine of your eyes,
The tremors in my veins that keeps on racing with my thoughts, when we first grasped your hand to mine,
A fissure that my heart fell in deep,
Temblor after temblor, a magnitude of love that got me falling to the ground with a crash, and everything around me did too,

I trembled with everything I've ever got when I first saw you,
But you broke my heart in a snap, and diverged our ground into two,

You were at the other side of the ravine, and the gap went wider, carrying the damage every step you took away from me,
And you just left me with all the broken love, and a gorge in the middle of my heart,

You're an earthquake that displaced the pieces of my heart;

And I know that you're bringing the quake to other cities, because mine just got destroyed by you
