Scars

If you look up the word "scar" in the dictionary, it will give you narrow search of its different meanings.
It can either be a noun, a verb, a protruding rock, or a mark left by an injured tissue.

I am always curious about the scars in my heart, though.
A heart that no one even bothers to check-up on.
A heart that has been a living proof of what I've been through for so long.
A heart that's been left and abandoned to be reckoned with.
A heart that's been strong as a muscle and still keeps up with my shit.

My heart has been an injured tissue, that's a fact,
But is one of the reasons why I am still intact.

So don't you ever be afraid of the scars that is embedded in your body,
For it may leave a mark, but it will change you completely.
