When I Can't Do Anything Else

Hope

Finding true love was never at my beck and call
I never believed that love would ever conquer it all
It's really too silly to tell you this story
Of how love found its way to me, to conquer and for glory

There was once a man who fell in love,
To a girl who was so bubbly but oh so tough
He worked his way up win her heart
Was rejected a few times but still stood up
He eventually found his way to her heart
He showed his true colors that he hid for so long,
That he thought was a flaw, but she loved all along.

What seized to amaze me was how it changed me
To see things differently, and to love immensely
I suddenly had hope that true love does exist
It just takes some time and turns and twists

So if you my dear are reading this,
I tell you to have hope.
Hope to find love, to conquer love, to have hope in love.
For love conquers all.
