When I Can't Do Anything Else

Lost

I've always been a lost soul.
I strongly believe that my mind wanders a lot.
Too often enough I don't even realize where my brain wanders.
But I am aware that I am wandering. I am aware that I'm lost.
As I try to find the words that'll rhyme this verse,
I am left with nothing but a couple of words.

My dear, if you are a wandering soul who's having a hard time to get back on track,
I am here to tell you that you'll eventually get back
For I know for a fact that you'll get yourself back,
Because it's the only thing that gives me hope I too, will soon be in track.

They say that not all those who wander are lost, and I cling to this quote.
For I am a wanderer. And I am definitely lost.
