She can relate, sadly, but that means he can too!

"So Sai, the million-times brainpower genius, is Ryusui's big brother?!" Chrome exclaimed.
"Well, with the years spent out of the stone, they're probably the same age now." you thought out loud.
"Still, is there a reason we weren't told that earlier?" Gen asked.
"Mh? Seems like a pointless factor to me." Ryu said. "I desire Sai Nanami for his first-rate talent, is that so wrong?"
"Definitely wrong!" Sai exclaimed (free to breathe now that Kohaku let him go). "I've always told you, I'm not a genius! And yet, since way back when, you've been making those wild claims!"

"Huh, that's weird." Chelsea tilted her head. "So you're not a freaky genius?"
"Exactly! It's a lie!"
"How hilarious!" she took his hand and shook it. "Still glad to have you as a regular ol' pal!"
"R-really?" he asked, touched.
"Couldn't have said it better myself." you walked up to him and offered your best smile. "Hi, I'm (Y/n). I didn't know Ryu had a brother. It's so nice to meet you Sai." you offered him your hand.
"Ryu?" he quickly glanced at his brother before shaking your hand with a shy smile. "It's...It's nice to meet you."
"What's 462471 times 910835?"
"...421234773285."
"Ah-ha! Got'cha!" you pointed at him.
"Wowsy!" Chelsea exclaimed. "You *are* a genius!"
"No I'm not! That was easy!"

"Haha~! Good one my dear!" Ryu told you before pointing at Sai. "You've been trying to deny your talents since you were four years old!"
"Mental math, is, pointless!" he pressed on his words. "A computer could do the same calculation in an instant! And given enough time, anyone in the world could perform ten-digits multiplication like me!"
'Uh, sure.' you thought. 'If I multiply those ten digits by one, and if you give me a few days and a bunch of paper.'
"No matter what you think, you can't hide your obvious talent for math and science! Which is why Nanami Corp., no, I desire your abilities above all!"
"I knew it!" Sai held his head in anguish. "They all wanted to put me to work! So I left Nanami Corp. and Ryusui, and fled all the way to a university in India! I'm no mathematician, I'm a programmer! All I want...is to coding!"
His gaze wandered towards the landscape, a stone world with no technology in site (yet). This seemed to break his heart, and he hung his head down.

"How... How long will it take to achieve a proper modern day computer in this stone world?"
"Semiconductors are hell y'know." Senku replied. "Well, even hell is manageable. At this point, they're impossible, outta the question." he thought for a moment. "At best? Five years, maybe ten."
Sai pursued his lip, his eyes growing teary.
"Why did you...even revived a guy like me?"
Your heart shattered at his words. Senku glanced at you, having heard that before, long ago, from you.
"Revived into a world without so much as a pocket calculator." he continued. "What can a programmer hope to achieve here?"

Ryu tried to convince him, but he wouldn't hear it. You all decided to go back to the ship for the day, now that your mission was completed and all. Sai was given a room and he hasn't come out yet. It worried you. And it showed apparently.
"Hahaha~! Worry not my dear (Y/n)!" Ryu patted your head as you were all eating dinner. "Sai's just being his usual self, but when push come to shove, he's quite capable!"
"The problem isn't that he can or can't do math," you sighed. "it's that he doesn't *want* to."
"He said he's not even that quick when it comes to calculations, but we saw it!"
"Math doesn't seem to be his thing," Chelsea said. "kinda feels bad for the guy."
You sighed again, your eyebrows furrowed.
"You okay there (Y/n)?" Chrome asked.
"I just...I get where he's coming from."
Gen giggled, knowing what you were talking about.
"Who would've thought. The two of you are in completely different fields of expertise."
"That doesn't matter in the least." Senku casually said. "As long as they share the same level of passion for their own science."

You both exchanged a look. François noticed and they stood up.
"Now, if you'll excuse me," they bowed with a hand on their chest. "I will be delivering Master Sai's dinner to his chamber." they looked at you. "Lady (Y/n), would you like to accompany me?"
"Huh?! C-Could it be?!" Chelsea exclaimed, shocked but also excited. "Does the cool and smooth François also have a thing for (Y/n)?!"
They just chuckled. You got why they gave you this offer, ignoring the young girl's theory (also because it was funny), you accepted the butler's offer and the two of you went to Sai's room. On the way, you picked up some paper and pencils. They knocked on the door and opened it. The young man was sitting on the edge of his bed, looking pretty depressed.
"Master Sai, here is your dinner. And, you have some company."
He looked up and saw you, his eyes widen slightly in surprise and he let out a little 'oh'. François excuse themselves and they left the room. There was a short moment of silence before you spoke.
