My Own Science (Dr Stone Senku x reader)

[Exclusive scenes + QnA~!]

Back in quotev central (shoutout to the fam~) I pade a QnA, because I love those, and I had ideas for some exclusive scenes. So it'll be a question then a scene, and we follow that pattern.
Alright let's go!

Question from Sebastian:
What drove you to start this story in the first place? And what keeps you going?

Well I've always liked this idea that music was essentially a complex form of science, there's a lot of interesting TED talks on the subject. And so when I started watching Dr Stone, I had this idea of exploring that side of science as a way to, not only tell a neat story, but also maybe to make my readers learn a thing or two, as well as myself of course (I was shocked when I found out the strings-gut thing, yet I also kind of expected it to be gross). I guess that's also what keeps me going. That and the fact that there's so many cool things happening in this story character-wise, when one is over, I just wanna get to the next one x3

SCENE N'1: when did (Y/n) and Senku started to hang out?

After this dude heard you playing piano and interrogated you (scaring you in the process because he was being so intense), he just went on his way back to class. You asked your classmates who the heck that was. A dude named Senku, a total smarty pants who kept building stuff and read things.
And you wanted to be friends with him!
"Can we be friends?" you asked, standing in front of the desk he was sitting at.

He looked up at you, and was silent for a minute before returning to his book. He figured that your kid-logic made you think that your one interaction would earn your friendship.
"I don't know you well enough for you to be my friend." he bluntly said.
"Oh."
'Well, at least you don't make a fuss about it.' he thought.
"Can we be buddies then?"
"What's the difference?" he raised an eyebrow.
"You'll get to see all my instruments."
'That does not answer my question!'

But he thought that, even so, it'd be a great convenience to examine and experiment instruments without having to pay for them. He stood up.
"Deal."
You both shook hands, smiling.

Question from Sandra:
I've always wanted to know who's your actual favourite character (it's a difficult question in this series, so you can choose as many as you please)

No need! I know who my favorite is, Tsukasa. Because he's so pure and he's best boy! Plus his voice actor also voices my number one best boy, Karamatsu (from Osomatsu-san), so that's just more points to him!

SCENE N'2: how did (Y/n) and Senku actually became friends?

Senku went over to your house after school, as he would sometimes do, your parents weren't back from work yet so you didn't mind making a lot of noise as he disassembled your whole horn section. He went on a monologue, thinking out loud as he examined each piece and how the air went through the instrument to make its iconic sound. And after that, you helped him putting it back together, it took a while, and it was quiet, but you were both very focused so you didn't mind.

"And...done." Senku placed his hands on his hips as you both looked upon the saxophone.
You picked it up and tried it. Sounded as good as new.
"Oh~ we did it~!"
"Yeah, that feeling of accomplishment, the pride of making and repairing something." he smiled.
"...Well now we don't have anything to repair anymore."
"Yeah." he said as he picked up his tools and put them back in his bag.
You looked down at your instrument, a moment passed before smashing it on the ground, falling into pieces.
"What the hell?!" Senku exclaimed, scared and with a hand on his chest. "You broke it!"
"And somehow, it felt just as good!" you smiled widely at him.

Senku, though reluctant at first, quickly got into it, and so the evening turned into a cycle of breaking instruments, put them back together, then breaking them again. Even when your tuba got to the point where it was beyond repair, you and Senku went on a blacksmith adventure. You went to his house to get his tools, broke into a blacksmith workshop (because it was closed) to melt the metal then reshape it back to its original form, then the owner heard you guys, he confused you for some thugs he owned money to, then he sent out his dogs after you both, and as you were running away, you actually bumped into those thugs, and they were already tensed, so then they dragged you guys with them back to the blacksmith, tied you up and went to the owner before they could 'take care of you'. Thankfully you saw one of those useful videos about breaking free from handcuffs and Senku had a little blade he always had with him, hidden in the sole of his shoe. The two of you got out, called the police anonymously, then you bought some crepes on the way home, just in time for your dad to come back.
And so that experience brought you closer and you became friends.
