Chapter 127 - That sounded like her teacher needed to talk to her parents but Gu Xi couldn't figured out what she had done wrong. (1)

What was this about his team?

Gu Shao frowned as he took the registration information from Wang Huazhou.

He was taken aback when he saw the very familiar name. It wasn't every day that Gu Shao was surprised. His first reaction was someone having the same name as him and his next thought was that someone had stolen his identity.

Setting aside his surprise, Gu Shao kept on reading without saying a word.

It was his name, his ID number, and even his address was correct.

Except that, how come he wasn't aware that he had registered for the Tianchuang Competition?

Gu Shao lifted his brows and, all of a sudden, the face of a certain tricky girl crossed his mind.

He had an idea who had "stolen" his identity now.

Not very many people had this kind of information on him. After he had moved out from the Gu family, not even Old Mr. Gu and other others knew the address that he used on his household register.

The only one person who would know his address and be able to fill in his ID number would be the little girl who was in the same household register as her.

"What about the information on the others?" asked Gu Shao.

"Here. These are the information on the other members on the team." Wang Huazhou handed another document over to Gu Shao.

Gu Shao quickly looked over the other few pages of information.

"Shen Ye." The youngest in the Shen family?

Because of the relationship between Old Mr. Gu and Old Mr. Shen, Gu Shao, too, knew some about the Shen family. If his memories served his correctly, the Shen family has a grandson that attended the same school as Gu Xi.

Gu Shao continued reading.

He was a bit surprised when he saw "Gu Yanlin".

Gu Yanlin should be overseas during the registration period. How was he able to hook up with Gu Xi?

Gu Shao thought to himself.

Regardless, in Gu Shao's mind, even if his daughter had gotten to know the child of his older brother head of time, it was for sure Gu Yuan who had reached out to Gu Xi.

And perhaps it was him who dragged Gu Xi into the competition.

He wouldn't be getting his new year's money this year for affecting his little sister's studying.

Gu Shao's eyes narrowed.

Wang Huazhou watched Gu Shao's reaction closely.

He was surprised to see Gu Shao reading through the document seriously as though this was the first time that he had seen it.

Did that mean Boss Gu knew nothing about this? Someone applied using his information?

The possibility of that made Wang Huazhou nervous.

"Boss Gu, we didn't do a thorough enough job when reviewing the information. Perhaps we 've made a mistake during our reviewing process." Wang Huazhou lowered his head and self-reflected.

He paused, then said, "I'll have someone go through the information again and we will look into your information."

"There's no need," said Gu Shao as he looked up from the document.

"No, no need?" Wang Huazhou was surprised.

Gu Shao said in the next second, "I think it is my daughter."

As he spoke, he looked somewhat troubled.

He recalled her little crafty but feigning docile look and found it both amusing and annoying at the same time.

He seemed to finally be able to relate to how the other parents must have felt when sharing how their children had "taken their ID and cellphone numbers to register for social accounts and pay for subscriptions online" in the forums.

Wang Huazhou was stunned when he heard that. "Your daughter?!"

"She was probably curious about this competition and must have keyed in my ID number when she was blocked because of the age limit."

Wang Huazhou, "......" Oh, I see.

To think that the group of upper management had sat around trying to figure out why Gu Shao did what he did.

An embarrassed look flashed past Wang Huazhou's face.

Nevertheless, it was not entirely their fault.

If they were only looking at the design proposal, The team Battle at the Summit of Tianchuang, with the exception of the slightly tacky name, it was difficult to image that one of their team members was a minor girl.

Even just the design proposal, in its draft form, was somewhat complete.

And the idea was sound.

They had always thought that this was one of Gu Shao's personal research.v
