Chapter 132 - Her "Big Brother" drew two jealous look. (1)

Gu Xian, next to them, was oblivious to his son's current depression. He took the tea offered to him by Aunty Mei and took a sip. Remembering something, he said to Gu Shao, "I have caused Gu Yaobai a little bit of trouble on his end."

Gu Yaobai's company took on a couple projects in City N but had yet to sign the contracts. As far as Gu Xian knew, they were already in their preliminary phase. Gu Xian pulled some strings and took the two projects from him.

Two projects in their initial phases went belly up overnight, and without any signs ahead of time either. They figured that Gu Yaobai would be on his way to handle that as they spoke.

"What we don't know is how long that will tie him up for," said in a relaxing tone Gu Xian leaned back on the couch.

He hoped that Gu Yaobai wouldn't be able to make it back.

Gu Shao, for once, didn't respond to what Gu Xian had just said.

"When are we taking off?" asked Gu Xian.

"We can leave whenever." Gu Shao gave Gu Xian a look and thought to himself, Had the two of you not come over unannounced, Gu Xi and him would already be on their way.

Gu Xian smiled with a little bit of embarrassment when he noticed the hint of resentment in Gu Shao's eyes. "Let's go then."

After a slight pause, he added jokingly, "If we don't go soon, the old man will be jumping up and down again."

The four plus Aunty Mei took off together.

Walking over to the car, Gu Chenyi ran over and opened up the car door for Gu Xi.

"Xixi, sit on this side."

He had yet to finish talking when he was smacked upside his head by his dad.

"Be respectful. You need to refer to Xixi as Big Sister." Gu Xian reminded his son.

So the dispirited look on him right now was because he thought he was the older brother but had turned into the younger brother?

Listening to the dialog between the father and son, Gu Xi finally couldn't stop herself but busted out laughing.
