I've never been truly loved before
Maybe some would call it love
But in his mind
It was never true
I grew up as a hopeless romantic
With dreams the size of the moon
I want to have my forever love
The one we don't take for granted
I want someone to hold me
When I'm having a bad day
To wipe the tears from my eye
To tell me everything will be okay
I want someone to reassure me
To understand my past and who I am
I want to be called beautiful
But not by demand
I want to dance in the rain
Kiss under the stars
Laugh until my clavicle hurts
I want to hold someone's heart
I wanna be swept off my feet
Cuddled all day long
We can take naps together
And sing our favorite songs
It's the simple things for me
The moments that go unnoticed
Those little memories
Mean the most
I want someone who gives me the first bite
Who loves every inch of me
Who accepts my flaws
And my insecurities
My heart is fragile, I know
I need to protect it from abuse
Its still recovering from the last time
When you ripped it in two
All I want in my life
Is to have that undeniable love
Where we care so deeply for each other
One where I'm finally enough
