Sip after sip
Tossed bottles
When does it stop
No tomorrowI watch you do this
Every single night
It's like you don't see it
The pain in my eyesFrom the time I was little
To this very day
I hate alcohol
It tears you apartIt makes mom angry
To watch you drink
She shakes her head
It makes her thinkThe worst part is
You don't care
It hurts your body
Yet you continueWhat you haven't considered
The problem you ignore
Is what we would do without you
If you leave us for alcoholA decision each time
One you always fail
It's drinking or family
Only one survivesThe more you drink
The better it feels
The more you forget
The less you healIt hurts to watch
Especially when we talk
You say meaningful things
Yet the next morning they're goneYou don't remember
Telling me you're proud
If you really loved me
You would save yourselfIt's to the point of lost hope
The same story is told
There goes dad again
Drunk in the garageThe day that I lose you
When your liver fails
It will hurt even more
You chose to let it kill you

Frozen Feelings
PoetryThis book outlines the pain I experienced in my past and the things that I look back on. These are my greatest fears and worst moments. I'm not writing this for the public, but for myself
