Victoria's Pov.

"And you think you make the mornings better by not stopping the chatter?" I made my first morning comment, which was aimed at Zabini.
He was the only person who was already in the best of moods in the morning.
But even to my surprise, Draco wasn't tired or cranky, as usual.
He was lively and always laughing with his best friend.
I turned to the right and followed every move the Ice Prince made with my eyes.
He gestured a lot and extremely with his hands and seemed to be having a great time.
I couldn't remember the last time he radiated this joie de vivre.
It seemed like he was changed, but in a positive way.
Having no idea what they were talking about, I went back to my breakfast until I felt an elbow in my side.
Draco had actually elbowed me in the ribs with his right elbow.
I jumped and dropped my fork.
I turned in his direction, about to lecture him, but stopped my movement when I saw the Ice Prince laugh at me and high five with Blaise.
"What?" I asked, mockingly disinterested, rolling my eyes exaggeratedly.
I couldn't help but laugh a little.
"II and Blaise were just talking about w-what you looked like in first grade." Draco burst out laughing.
I had to think because I didn't know what I looked like back then.
They didn't give me time to think about it, however, as Blaise kept talking.
"Do you remember how small you were back then and then your cute curly head."
"Yes Blaise, I remember that.
I mean, I was that person back then," I replied to Zabini's rhetorical question, earning more laughs from both jerks.
"I just want to remind you of what you looked like back then.
I mean Draco's slimy hydrogen blonde snooty haircut was a hit." I hadn't even finished speaking before Zabini snorted and laughed at his best friend.
The Ice Prince, however, didn't seem to find it that funny.
Or shall we put it that way, he tried to suppress his grin and acted offended.
"You don't have to laugh so much, Blaise.
If I remember what you looked like when you were eleven, I would stop laughing if I were you," I said myself, chest bursting with laughter, and looked him straight in the face.
"What did I look like, Vik?" the person addressed asked me, raising an eyebrow.
"Very cute if you ask me that, with your short curly afro and school cape way too big since your mom assumed you'd grow into it." I tried to reply with a serious expression on my face.
"Hmph," he said offended and turned away while I smacked Draco.
"W-wait, what?  Are you on her side now?  I thought you were my friend!" Blaise said incredulously, looking at his best friend.
"Don't worry buddy, I'm not taking sides."

Since today was Saturday and most of the students were in the wizarding village of Hogsmead, the hallways were empty and silent.
Me and Draco just walked down the halls hand in hand and acted like the couples in muggle novels.
I enjoyed his closeness.
Until he suddenly let go of my hand and stood in front of me with his back to me and crouched down.
"What will it be when it's done?" I asked him, clearly confused.
"Jump up!" the Ice Prince replied, dead serious.
"You're crazy!" I said, hoping he wasn't serious.
"No, I'm not crazy and now up with you, don't be a spoilsport."
"It's okay." I gave up and jumped on his back.
When I wrapped my arms around his neck, he started to move.
He walked through more aisles and didn't even think about putting me down.
I rested my head in the crook of his neck and continued to be piggybacked.
"Hold on tight," the Ice Prince whispered and began to increase his pace.
Until he ran.
He ran through the corridors of Hogwarts.
Turned left and right.
Until he stopped and slowly let me slide to the floor.
I punched him in the side from behind, causing him to turn around abruptly.
He looked down at me.
A few blonde strands fell across his face, making his eyes sparkle even more.
They radiated energy and aggressiveness.
I looked at him defiantly, whereupon his lips curled into a rather dirty grin and he only sighed heavily once.
"Oh dear Lestrange, do you really want to challenge it!?"
He gave me a provocative look as well, and I nodded and turned around quickly.
I ran down the aisles as fast as I could.
Ran down the steps that led to another empty hallway.
I turned around and saw his aggressive grin behind me again.
When I turned my gaze forward again, I suddenly slowed down, not expecting a dead end.
However, he grabbed me and pushed me against a wall.
He wasn't gentle, but he wasn't threatening either, which made me tremble inside.
I slowly raised my head and saw that he was still grinning at me with that look in his eyes.
He pressed his body against the wall against mine and kissed me passionately.
Immediately, my feelings began to overflow again and my tongue found his by itself.
I couldn't help but groan as his hand slid down my body.
I ran a hand through his hair and pulled him even closer to me.
He immediately cupped my face in his hands again and gently stroked my cheek.
With each of his fingers he left a damn hot trail there, on my skin.
I bit his lip.
But when his hands slipped under my blouse, I let go of him.
I wasn't ready yet.
And I certainly didn't want it to happen in a cold Hogwarts corridor.
"I'm not ready for that yet," I replied to Draco's questioning look and was hugged by him.
"It's okay, I won't do anything you're not ready for."
