___

I didn't know if I was the only one who was seeing it but there were blue flecks around Filip's brown eyes. And they seemed to twinkle like treated diamonds, especially when he talked about something that piqued his interest, like making building a resort somewhere far away from the busy city the topic for our business plan.

"We could add a park and zoo, then an arcade. And we must not forget to add access to banking services. It will be like a mini city. Like a little country. It'll be so nice if we can actually make it happen other than just dumping the ideas in between the pages of a script."

I wondered if he knew how hot he was when he randomly bit his lip as he went into a deep thought. Or how extremely innocent and cute it appeared to me when his eyes lighted up as an idea came, and he snapped his fingers, a perfect grin honoring his face.

"We could call it 'The Eden' you know, like the garden of Eden. What do you think?"

And his hair. They looked so soft and silky from afar. Oh what I would give to be able to run my fingers through them. It must feel nice. Now I was so jealous of his hand that constantly combed through it when he was frustrated, thinking, or just having an itch.

"Azania?"

Why was Filip Petrov so attractive?

"Earth to Azania."

And why the fuck was it so hard to date a boy like him? Maybe I needed to change my look. Perhaps lose weight and maybe, start dabbing on one of those shouty, really red lipsticks. Should I buy a pushup bra or something?

"Ouch" I whined, snapping back to earth when I felt a nasty flick on my forehead. My hand flew to cup the spot, heat crawling up my face when it finally dawned on me what just happened.

I zoned out on Filip again. For the third time today, I zoned out thinking about him and his looks.

"Oh," I breathed out, a shy smile creeping up my lips, "Zoned out again, didn't I?"

"Yes," he nodded, his lips slightly in a thin line, fingers tapping on the table, his jaw hardening a little as he glanced around before his brown eyes fell on me again, "I don't know, Azania. Am I boring to you or something? Like am I a bore?"

"No!" I quickly said, shaking my head, "No, no, no, no."

"Then why are you always zoning out?" He complained, a deep crease on his forehead as he looked at me for answers, then sighed harshly before running his hands through his hair.

"It's not on purpose, trust me," I confessed, "It's just that I have a lot on my mind at the moment. I'm so sorry. I will try to concentrate now."

"Are you okay?" His anger suddenly started to diminish, the hurt in his eyes replaced with worry, "Although it's not much but we still have enough time. We can meet again tomorrow or something."

He was so sweet and considerate. What else would I want in a boy that he didn't have?

"No," I waved it off, "Let's just contin..." I was saying but trailed off when I suddenly noticed Filip wasn't looking at me but over my head, confusion evident in the crease of his brows, and I didn't even have to wonder what was going on. From the sudden stillness of air, the kind of look people sitting ahead of our booth were directing behind me, I knew exactly what was happening.
