From their men's observation, they found an underground wine cellar that had escaped from Charles's raining pole attack.

Suzie Yap and Charles Wong told others to find who was the one that had killed Ta Kei while the two checked whoever was hiding in the wine cellar. They had a strong belief that the person inside would be the one that provided Chin Chun with information and guided them to Italy.

Although it was unwise to let their boss and madam face the unknown enemy alone, it was a new reality that their boss could create any form of lethal weapon out of metals and their madam could heal any injuries she had. Their gang members' worth had dropped like a landslide since their boss has gotten a strong ability.

When they get back to Musihada, they would definitely activate their genes!

Whoever was inside the wine cellar did not lock the door, and even helpfully lit up the entire place. Moretti clan was able to continue using electricity. Not only that, the person inside was not hiding from them at all and was walking around the cellar as if there was not a fight going on upstairs.

"How... not surprising," Suzie Yap murmured after seeing it was a familiar face. "Fortune teller Sheng."

Suzie Yap tossed her gun with an empty magazine away. The replacement of her gun was her favourite choice of weapon, a butcher knife. Guns may be faster, but her expertise lay in knives.

"I'm here to talk," Master Sheng said calmly as he continued to browse through the available wine.

"You are the one that lured us here?" Suzie Yap asked as Charles Wong pointed his gun at Fortune Teller Sheng.

"'Lure' is not the word I would use. I had, after all, supplied your side with useful information that guaranteed your survival."

"Your Lord's actions are rather contradicting to your words."

"I'm here without his knowledge... or rather, he had no knowledge that I've sent information to your side, and no knowledge that we are having this conversation."

"No knowledge?" Suzie Yap chuckled as if amused. "What is this? You are not happy with your current cult group and want to form one yourself?"

"Let's just say... not everyone is willing when he invites a new member to the group."

"What do you want from us?" Suzie Yap no longer have the patience to dance around the topic and went to the point.

Fortune Teller Sheng tapped a wine bottle with his fingertip. "It is to my interest to make sure a certain lady from your family survives... until she ends his immortal life."

"My daughter."

"No, not her. She is just a bait, a distraction to divert his attention from the real one."

"You believe it's my mother that could kill that bastard?" Charles Wong spoke for the first time since they arrived at the wine cellar. Their daughter had messaged them that she was now an Awakened person, with shadow ability. It certainly does not sound impressive just from hearing it, and their daughter had not elaborated about her ability.

As for his mother, he could not get in touch with her, not even a message from her, so he was uncertain how his mother was doing.

"Not only did I believe it, I know it. My prediction is never wrong." Master Sheng had sensed that the great noble had Awakened the gene, and gained the strength that could kill the Lord for real.

Before his teacher breathed his last, he had told him about his latest prediction and his predictions were always right. Thus, he restrained his anger, his hatred, and his desire for revenge, just to wait until the noble person appeared.

He had lived way past a human lifespan, and that dulled most of his emotions. But that desensitized emotions made it easier for him to make the decision that the younger and more humane him could never make. Using his foretelling ability, he summed up a list of names that could threaten the Lord and made a bet that among the named people in the list would include the existence of the noble person.

Not only that, but he also offered their names to the Lord just to find that person at the expense of many talented ability users.

"Did you not think you could be wrong?"

This time, it was Master Sheng that chuckled as if he had heard something funny. "Impossible."

Those names on his yellow paper were the possible candidates. He struck their names off only if they were dead, a red dot at the end of the names if they survived the bite, and the clean names were the ones with their fates yet unknown.

He had changed these people's fates for the greater good.

Wong Xue Guo and Akari had activated their gene on the same day, but the time when Master Sheng sensed the noble person's presence, he was stuck conversing with the Lord. He only get to check the list after hours of that golden moment, so he was not sure who awakened their ability first.

Either way, it was much more believable that an experienced, battle-hardened woman in her sixties was their world's hope than an eighteen-year-old girl that still knew nothing much about the world.

Even without seeing their ability, Akari's personal traits and skills won leaps and bounds, as it would be very useful in manipulating her ability to the fullest potential.

"Funny then. You are wrong to think I would not be angry that my daughter is being used!" Suzie Yap started the fight by sending one of her knives flying straight at Master Sheng.

The flying knife failed to impale the intended target and smashed a few wine bottles instead. Next, Charles Wong created numerous bullets and had them chase Fortune Teller Sheng around.

To be the Lord's henchman and dared to face the couple alone, it would not be unusual to have some self-saving tricks under his sleeve. But what he have was clearly more than a few tricks.

Without a hint of struggle shown on his face, Master Sheng dodged their attacks and continued the conversation. "Since you had accepted that your daughter will die, you should also be able to accept that your daughter's sacrifice will be the best for the world. I may pity her, but we need to make difficult choices for the majority's benefit. Her being a bait will buy us time until Akari masters her ability."

"Shut the hell up!" Suzie Yap cursed that she no longer had her super strength ability, which would be very much helpful during a battle.

Hence, the couple's role had to be switched, where Charles would be the attacker, while Suzie would be the supporter.

Despite not having super strength, her Awakened status boosts her strength marginally. Thus, she could still grab any heavy items she stumbled upon and throw them at the enemy. Now even the wine racks could not escape her wrath.

"I had seen how both of you acted towards your daughter. Truly, it's rather impressive how masterful you are over your emotions," Master Sheng commented, all the while dodging the flying items with his rather weird poses that were both agile and soft looking.

"He seems to be a Chinese martial arts master," Charles Wong warned his wife.

"Then he's only fast but weak!" Suzie Yap recklessly charged forward, forcefully switching her role to be the attacker. She was not used to being a supporter and was much more comfortable taking charge.
