When Simon and I went home from the hospital that day we had something to think about. We were just twenty years old. I still felt like a child myself sometimes. And now Felice and Eline wanted a baby. With me and Simon. I needed to have an heir sometime in the near future and was married to a guy. The sweetest and best guy in the world. But he was not a wizard and could not magically make a baby for me.

"So what do you think about it?" Simon said. He smiled at me.

"About having a baby with Felice and Eline?" I asked. He nodded.

"They are a bit crazy. In a good way. But still crazy," he said giggling. I giggled too. I agreed that they were a little bit crazy. But sometimes crazy was better than ordinary.

"Yeah. You become like the ones you spend time with," I said a bit teasingly. Simon looked at me with a grin on his lips.

"Well that explains everything," he said and took my hand in his. He leaned his head against my shoulder. We both laughed. I felt his lips on my neck. It made me shiver. I leaned in and pressed my lips to his. He tasted so good I did not want him to stop kissing me. At last we separated anyways.

"But for real though," Simon said. "Do we even consider this, or were you scared to say no to Felice like Eline suggested?" He was way more serious now. He really wanted to talk it through. So I guessed we would. I sighed.

"Well i can't just take such desicions on my own, can I?" I said. "I need to discuss it with my husband you know." He giggled when I referred to him like that.

"So you do want to have a baby?" he asked.

"I did not say that," I replied.

"But what is there to discuss if you don't?" Simon teased. I groaned. He was a bit annoying, I had to say that. He broke the tense atmosfere we had created by tickling me. "Huh? Do you have some baby fever as well?" I laughed and tried to defend myself against his attack.

"What if I do?" I asked. I was curious what he would say to that.

"Then we tell Felice and Eline we are on with their crazy plans," he replied. He was so adorable.

"Do you want a baby, Simon?" I asked. His eyes sparkled.

"If you want to," he said.

"Well I only want to if you do," I said. He made a face at me.

"You copy cat," he said and giggled.

"Maybe we should just tell them we are on then?" I said. He nodded.

"Maybe we should, babe," he said and kissed me again.

When we told Felice and Eline we would take their offer, they were the happiest I had seen them since their wedding. Eline's stay in the hospital did not offer too much joy. They thought that we had thought that they were joking, which they apparently kind of were. But since we had said yes, they would not say no to make that kind arrangement. We would be young parents, but together we had eighty years of life experience. And I was the king of the country. I could get any help we needed if we needed. We waited for them to come home before we started discussing it for real. And we needed to talk to health care professionals about it. This baby would not be homemade. That was one thing that was for sure. Before either Simon or I knew it there was a meeting booked at a private clinic. They could handle our buisness a bit more discrete way than the ordinary health care could. We wanted to keep it under the radar until there was a pregnancy to begin with at least. The four of us sat down in a room together. There was a doctor and a nurse present.

"So you seek help with insemination, am I correct?" the nurse said. She had gray hairs in the brown hair. Wrinkles. Glasses on her nose. Her eyes were sharp.

"Yes. That is correct," I replied.

"And who would bear this pregnacy?" she asked. Felice raised a hand. Obviously we would not put Eline's body trough a pregnacy when she had to undergo treatments for her cancer. And Simon and I was not suitable for the job for obvious reasons.

"And whos sperm will be used?" she asked.

"His," Simon said and pointed at me. He knew I was easily embarrassed in these kind of situations. His hand was massaging mine. Trying to get me to relax.

"So Felice, are your periods regular or irregular?" the nurse asked.

"Regular," Felice said. The nurse looked down in her papers.

"And when did you have your last period?" the nurse kept asking.

"A week and a half ago," Felice siad confidently. "10 days to be exackt." The nurse kept asking Felice questions and then she came up with a date when we would do a first try. It was barely a week from then. It all became so real when we were finished and went out to the car again. Was this a crazy idea? Or a wonderful idea? I could not tell if it was one of those options. Or both.
