billie "finally" summer groans throwing herself on the bed after hours of traveling we finally made it to our small house in the maldives, where we will be spending the next month.
"that was tiring" she mutter dropping the bags I was holding and lay on the bed next to her, "it's sunset time" I tell her seeing the orange light peak through our curtains.
"it is" she smiles looking out, I pull her into my arms and cuddle against her, "they should be bringing us some lunch soon, I already ordered it" I tell her as I kiss her cheek.
"thank you" she mutters turning to face me and pecks my lips.
"of course, now go change into one of your sexy bikinis because we're having lunch outside in the pool" I tell her making her laugh.
she gets up and opens one of her many bags to get a swimsuit before going to the bathroom and I lay there staring at the ceiling as I wait.

"come here sexy" I grin pulling summer towards me, she laughs lowly staring up at me, "hi" i lean in to kiss her forehead.
"hi billie" she giggles leaning against my chest, "thank you for bringing me here, it's very pretty" she says looking around.
"again.. only the best for you" I tell her as I cup her face, "I'm just trying to treat you how I should have" I add pecking her lips.
"you know.." I start pushing summer against the pool walls and trap her with my hands besides each side of her, "before.. I was so scared of this" I tell her as I innocently kiss her shoulder.
"I missed out on many things because I was busy trying to run away yet trying to also keep you by my side.. I don't know I was confused. I was trying to keep you with me yet I was also so scared of you leaving me" I confess.
"I was disloyal because you don't seem real, you're so much more than just a pretty face, you have the brains, you're mature, you're so smart, you're independent. I was afraid that you would realize that you don't need me and leave me, so I did everything to not be attached even though I was at the end" I chuckle licking my lips.
"I don't need you billie" she says shaking her head with a small smile, "I don't need anyone but I choose to be with you and to give myself to you, I could leave any moment but I choose not to" she says cupping my face.
"but that's the fear that comes with relationships and love though, my love. you're going to be scared shitless but so am I.. that's the thing about it. we just got to promise to not hurt each other" she tells me leaning our foreheads together.
"we're both scared, trust me" she tells me pecking my lips.
my eyes search between hers for a bit before I lean in to kiss her deeply, "I am promising to never hurt you" I tell her as I put up my pinky, she curls hers around me as we keep eye contact.
"I promise to only be there for you, to only love, to only support you, to cherish you and to never ever hurt you again" I promise her as I kiss my hand.
"and to be the best mother to adalyn" she tells me making me smile.
"and to be the best mom to adalyn" I repeat, she nods kissing her hand too before we seal it with a kiss.
"I can't wait to marry you" I tell her making her laugh lowly.
"one thing at a time baby"
