Episode 4-2: Dusk, Battleships, Elements -The Power of Courage-

"Status report, Y/N." Captain Muller said.

He put his fingers on the device comms to activate the mic. "I'm on deck, Cap."

"Affirmative. You only have 30 minutes before this Battleship crashes. Seize the helm of this Battleship. We cannot let it destroy Soukai City!" Captain replied sternly.

"Your teammates are in position. Rendezvous at the aft of the Battleship, which is the lower platform of the ship with two big gates. Be advised, we've lost track of that Emperor-Class Honkai you've fought, so proceed with caution." He continued.

"Roger." Y/N resumed his objective at the rendezvous point.

His route was interrupted by the pack of zombies. "They really never give up, aren't they?"

He fought them without breaking a sweat. After minutes passed, he managed to fend off the BIO-type zombies, and then he proceeded to his objective.

"Senior Kiana, Y/N reporting. Where exactly are you?"

"Y/N! Let's just meet up with Mei-senpai! Stick together~!"

He squinted his eyes like it didn't go as planned. "What...?"

He was stunned about whether to stick to the plan or follow Kiana's words.

Nope.

On the other side of the Battleship, Kiana was also heading towards the objective.

Then, Mei's voice was received through Kiana's comms. "Kiana-chan, Mei reporting. I'm safely in position."

"Awesome! Mei-senpai!! I'll head over right now!" Kiana replied in excitement.

Mei's response was a bit reluctant. "Hey, wait. We should follow the battle plan...."

"We're the bestest partners! We must stick together to make things easier for them."

"I think it should be 'make things easier for us."

"Oh, dear... Whatever! The battle plan also allowed us to be "flexible and respond as required", right? Just wait for me!"

Kiana then rushed to the objective point with excitement and slight impatience while battling the mobs on her way.

Can't wait any longer! It's already been 2 hours, 27 minutes, and 30 seconds since I've last seen Mei-senpai! No annoying zombies or beasts can get between Mei and I!

"Senior Kiana, Y/N reporting. Where exactly are you?" She heard her friend's voice on her comms.

She replied in a cheerful voice. "Y/N! Let's just meet up with Mei-senpai! Stick together~!"

"Think... that's about it...." Mei finished off the mobs she encountered.

Unknown to her, a zombie sneaked up on her from behind, attempting to slay her stealthy.

But suddenly, a footsteps noise could be heard from afar, and it got even louder as it approached them.

Kiana kicked the zombie off, saving Mei.

Kiana hugged Mei from behind. "Mei-senpai! We'll get the strength of a hundred warriors if Mei's around!"

"A hundred? I'm no ultra-woman...." Mei said nervously.

Kiana put on thumbs up on her. "I mean that if Mei-senpai's around me, I can feel my power increase one hundred-fold!"

"That's really something that Kiana-chan would say." Mei grinned awkwardly.
