Above the clouds where the sun partially arose from the horizon, glaring numerous floating lands full of construction buildings surrounded by the dam structure.

That building was where the main branch of the Schicksal HQ, located above the Mediterranean Sea.

Otto Apocalypse, the Overseer of the Schicksal HQ with his high authority, was inside his office room, called the Overseer's Sanctum, with the trusted two of his S-rank Valkyrie inside, along with his masked servant, Amber, who remained stationary in the background.

The meeting wasn't a pleasant one. The atmosphere was only filled with Otto's great charismatic demeanor, high authority and tension, evidenced when his trusted S-rank Valkyries' head lowered and proved inconsistent in taking his order.

A slap sound produced in its highest pitch that not only physically dealt a great punishment but also mentally disheartened them. Rita and Durandal's cheeks left a red mark from Otto's most painful slap, and they had to bear it to not show their weak mentality in front of him.

Rita Rossweisse was the worst out of all. She had been going through an extensive injury she had to deal with for her entire life.

Not only did she mindlessly deliver an aggravating blow to the young knight, but she ended up backfiring her immediately, and she returned to her wounded state along with a punishing slap that had already left her mentally down.

She blamed herself for not retrieving the priority objective back on her hands, which she knew she must face even more severe consequences from her Overseer for dismissing his orders.

Karma served the ruthless Valkyrie right; her iconic side bangs were sliced off by the Illusion Demon Captain, and her left eyes dealt a great punishment as she did to Y/N. Blood remained clinging to her left cheek, and her left eye was beyond recovery, leaving her humiliated.

"I ordered you to bring that knight as well, yet I don't see you carrying him." Otto calmly spoke with a smile, but even the calmest one already brought them even more pressure due to his high authority demeanor.

He was wholeheartedly disappointed and felt he had been deceived by their inconsistent performance. "How dare you ignore my orders?"

Rita's wounded eye caught Otto's attention, but he didn't show any remorseful thoughts at the sight of her. He took a step closer to the pressured Valkyrie and extended his face closer to her ear, and Rita could only remain silent, hold her breath and try her best to not show her true emotional face in front of him.

"This is the first time I see two of you have failed me. How can you call yourself the reliable S-rank Valkyrie?" His calmest voice already left her intimidated. Rita's heart was pounding hard, and she felt a heavy weight press her shoulder down, leaving her becoming weighting mentally.

He retreated from her and returned to his seat, still showing his unpleasant-mixed authority smile. "You're degenerate. To think I trusted you. Where's my loyalty, Rita... Durandal?"

The two highest rank Valkyrie could remain to stare down at the floor with their hands folded on the lower part of their body.

Durandal took a deep breath and exhaled to at least release her mental pressure, volunteering to speak in her deep apologetic manner. "Deep apologies, Overseer, with all the bottom of my heart. It won't happen again."

"I hereby apologize for ignoring your orders, Overseer. Please, forgive me with all my heart. I'm ready to take full consequences from the Overseer...." Rita followed the same, still not brave enough to stare at the Overseer's face.
