Episode 10-2: Babylon's Prisoner

The elevator had finally reached the designated level, with the door opened to reveal the three fighters on board.

The room consisted of a hexagon platform, another row of prison cells on the other side, and a gate panel with the hazard logo printed on it.

A surveillance camera mounted on the corner edge of the building shows footage of Cecilia, Kiana, and Y/N rushing to the platform, only to get their objective path blocked by the Anti-Entropy-like mechs.

The three posed in their fighting stance before they quickly rushed to the mechs, and it rushed to them at the same time.

The three were about to collide with the opponent, only to get knocked back into the air by the mech's shockwave gauntlet. Immediately, the Anti-Entropy-like mechs now cloaked its whole frame body into a translucent object, although it still can be seen with plain eyes.

Kiana, in her annoyance, recovered shortly afterward and then posed in her gun kata stance. "What's with this one? I can't keep track!"

The Valkyrie fired a white beam from the charged-up GUTS-Sparklence, but the mecha countered it by emitting its energy barrier from the gauntlet, then redirected the attack back at the group.

Cecilia saw it and immediately dodged the attack to the side.

Y/N and Kiana froze in surprise at the beam counter as they tried to block the oncoming attack with their arms. To their avail, they got knocked back to the ground while the beam passed through them, groaning in pain.

"Ultra-youch!"

"Even if we can see and attack it, It just nullifies our attack? Interesting..."

Cecilia's barrel rolled to the side, stood up while she snapped her neck around, then immediately stabbed her Abyss Flower to the ground, sprouting the sharp point vines and stabbing it multiple times.

The attack proved effective as it temporarily disabled the camouflage ability making the robot vulnerable to attack.

The superior Valkyrie yanked out the lance while pointing at her opponent. "Careful, you don't wanna get hit by it! Who knew the G-series had weapons like that."

Kiana and Y/N posed in their fighting stances before the former rushed to the immobilized mechs, switching to her physical fighting style instead as she brawled the robot.

The Valkyrie knee-kicked it three times and dealt a cutter blow to its neck part with her right arm, causing it to get knocked to the ground. Afterward, Kiana's head locked the robot and delivered a blow to its head, but the robot quickly freed itself from her grip and started to fire rounds of shots at her.

She dodged the bullet by running around in circles, thanks to her agility. She quickly caught its head again and pile-dropped it to the ground while dropping herself.

She then delivered a drop kick to the robot, knocking the robot back down to the ground again.

The mech was cloaking itself again right when Kiana was about to deliver a blow, which nullified her attack and caused her to get repelled away from the opponent.

"Uwaaa!" Kiana fell to the ground and got dragged backward. Cecilia and Y/N managed to catch her and stopped the Valkyrie from sustaining a rash of damage.

While Y/N swept off some specks of dust from his girlfriend, The knight had already learned the counterattack to deal with the robot.

'Electric to electric... Overvoltage it then.'

Cecilia still commented about the mech's presence, somehow deep inside her heart, that she wished it was for good. "If possible, it can take a Valkyrie's place on the field. But... Schicksal doesn't have a mech like that...."
