"Then... we'll get a doctor," Lucille suggested. I had thought she brought that up to Azrail earlier, but I suppose not.

She was laying in the window seat of my office, reclined and with a blanket draped over her legs. She was reading a book about psychology in her hand. I suppose it's because of what I said earlier.

"As you wish. Also, Lucille, I plan on working until the next morning; you should sleep."
"So should you." she quipped.
"I'm a vampire. The nighttime is my daytime." I flipped the page to the account book of the company my father started. It was pretty successful, but he got bored and handed me the ownership.

"And I'm a werewolf. The moon is my guide." She then howled playfully. I covered my face to hide how affected I was by her cuteness.

Meeting her again was easier than I thought it would be. I thought she would be angry with me. Maybe It was because I was so delirious in the car earlier that I accidentally seduced her.

"My love, the moon is under its new phase; it's not here to guide you tonight." I read and signed off on some expansion projects.

"It's still there. You just can't see it." She mumbled, absorbed by her book.
Kill her...

A knock came at my door, and Judith entered after I gave my permission.

"Lady Chaos, your invitation to the Royal Family has been received. We await their response."

"Hm."
"The Royal Family? Your... demon family, right Chaos?" Lucille asked.
"Yeah," I answered absentmindedly. "Is that all, Judith?"

"No, madam, we've also received complaints about your handling of Viscount Reich yesterday in Germany."
"You went to Germany, Chaos? Did you get me something?"
"I had german cuisine prepared for you that day, do you not remember?"

"oh..." she forgot.

"What are they saying, Judith?"

"I have their complaints here." Judith handed me copies of their letters. Who still writes letters?

I sifted through them, my eyes quickly scanning the cursive handwriting. I sorted through them as the ones that seemed genuine and those that left scathing impressions.

"Haters, Chaos? Can I see?"

"Not all of them... Also, I kicked his head in with my heel. That's bound to cause some backlash."

"Send a response to these expressing gratitude for their concern and guidance. Send a gift: wine and a bouquet of sweet peas, alstroemeria, and lavender. I also want their profiles and history."

I then went on to reward those who approached me with animosity. "Give the others a bouquet of white chrysanthemums, have a couple dead and add a few words of wisdom: 'She'd make an end to thy posterity.'"

"As you wish." Judith took the papers and then departed with them.

"I didn't think you knew how to be grateful." Lucille poked. "Also, what does that mean? Who's Coriolanus?"

I smirked, "If I don't treat them nicely, their precious feelings will plot my assassination."

It's better not to say, but the next line should go 'bastards and all', ultimately threatening to end their bloodline and wipe out their existence, including any illegitimate children or adoptions. These flamboyant idiots only know how to speak in a roundabout way, so I thought this would be a charming threat.
