Chapter 64: Kiyotaka Ayanokouji Vs Haru Daigo

Ayanokouji POV

I climbed the stairs to reach the door to the rooftop. Daigo Haru, the 2nd survivor of the 4th generation. The one who murdered Matsuo and his son. I can't forgive him for what he did, however it doesn't mean that he doesn't have any use to me. I arrived at the rooftop and there he was. His back is facing me as he was looking up at the afternoon sky. 

"Finally, the masterpiece has arrived before me" he said as he turns around and faced me 

"Let's finish this once and for all" he added 

"So, you are asking for a fight" I said

"I mean you already expected this to happen" 

"Before you consider doing anything, let me ask you something?" 

"What is it?" 

"How are you still alive? As far as I know, I was the only survivor. No one from the 4th generation could've been alive. If there was another, then I would've been informed at this point" I said 

"Well, you could say that me still being here was more of a miracle than anything." he said 

"Even I can't explain how I survived but I suddenly woke up to where I passed out as the staff was about to take my corpse away. They were shocked that I was alive even your father who facilitated everything was also in shock. The old man couldn't believe that I survived. He immediately tested me the moment I was awake by making me answer 100 college level tests which I pass with a 100% score" he explained 

"I see" 

"I know, a normal child would've lost his mind in answering this but not me. I've ended up continuing my training in the White Room, but I noticed at that time that you were missing. The one person that I idolized was not here anymore. Your father told me that someone by the name Matsuo got you out of the place." 

"So that's why you know him" 

"Correct Kiyotaka. And the moment you left was the moment you betrayed the White Room, betrayed me. I respected you; I even worshipped you like a god because you're the only one from the 4th generation to surpass the expectations of many. Those cold, monstrous eyes gave me a reason to want to be on your level one day. But look at me, I looked pathetic back then compared to you but now, thanks to my extra training as well as my thirst for revenge. I'm finally ready to put an end to you"  

"Haru, are you really going to do this? If you defeat me and then what?" I asked 

"I'll take you back just like what I said" he replied 

"Is going back to that forsaken place the only thing you know?" 

"It is where we grew up after all. You cannot deny the path that your father has chosen for you" 

"I make my own decisions now; he can't control my life anymore. I promised myself a peaceful life so I will fulfill it,"

"How many times do we have to go over this, THERE IS NO PEACE IN THIS WORLD. There will be always conflict around the corner. One small mistake leads to discord. I used to live a life of poverty but now I'm much stronger" he exclaimed 

"But are you stronger than me?" 

"Let's find out then" he said as he took off his blazer. I guess he isn't planning to hold back huh. 

"You know there is one camera there, right?" 

"Don't worry Kiyotaka, I'm not as dumb as the others. I disabled that camera before I got here. Now come on, show me what the masterpiece can do" he said as he goes into a fighting stance.
