Kaguya POV
It's late at night around 10:35 PM as I was in the balcony looking at the stars in the sky.
It's pretty cold outside right now but it's refreshing to just feel the cold air.
This is really looking like a normal trip to Hokkaido rather than the previous trip which was an exam rather than a normal trip.
It was definitely a nice change of pace for sure.
"Fufufu, enjoying yourself Shinomiya-san?"
I looked behind me and it was Sakayanagi-san.
Of course, I am actually in the same group as her. I don't mind it as much, but she is quite an interesting person.
After all, her father is the chairman of this school.
"Beautiful, isn't it?" Sakayanagi-san asked as she gazed up to the starry sky above.
"Yeah" I replied
"Say, I just remembered something" Sakayanagi-san said
"Hmm? what is it?' I asked
"Shinomiya, that name is something that was most familiar to me. I don't know why only now I suddenly have a recollection of it" she said
"Of course, I know now, Shinomiya is the name of the conglomerate that my father once knew and interacted with in the past.
"You know about us?" I asked
"Fufu, who doesn't? Your family is one of the strongest and richest in Japan. Even my father, the chairman knew about the Shinomiya's" Sakayanagi-san said
"I see, I never knew that my family had connections with the chairman himself" I said
"Yes, quite interesting. My father even met your father before his passing, who was his name again? ohh yes, Shinomiya Gan'an correct?" Sakayanagi-san asked
"You know my father?" I asked
"He was the head of your family after all" Sakayanagi-san replied
I couldn't believe it. Even Sakayanagi-san herself knows who my father is, I wonder if she knows more than she's letting on?
"Sakayanagi-san, how did your father know about my family?" I asked
"I apologize but I unfortunately can't disclose that information" she replied
"Why not?"
"The information would be sensitive for you if you actually know about" Sakayanagi-san replied
Now I am a bit curious.
At this point, I have been dropped main bombshells since I came here.
From the fact that Ayanokouji Kiyotaka is the son of a heartless man.
Two detectives who were investigating and even questioning that man's whereabouts
And even knew about my family's connection with Professor Ayanokouji.
Now I am wondering, given how Sakayanagi-san just casually told me that she knew about my father and my family. She could also know about Professor Ayanokouji as well.
"Well, let me ask you a question" I said
"What is it?" Sakayanagi-san asked
"Do you know about Kiyotaka's father?" I asked
Suddenly a smug looking smirk formed in her face. Does it confirm it?
"Why do you ask such a question?" she asked as she looked at me.
