Ayanokouji POV
It was the day of the cooking contest as Sakuta and Houtarou are now heading to the mall to where Amasawa is. As we walked, I suddenly got a phone call from Keisei.
"Hello"
"Hey Kiyotaka, it's been a while since we talked"
"Yeah, I was pretty busy" I said
"Understandable"
"Did you find any partners?" I asked
"Yeah, Haruka, Akito, and Airi managed to find partners." Keisei said
"What about Haru?" I asked
"You mean Daigo? I don't think he has found anyone yet, but Horikita wanted him to go with her and Sudo to meet with the 1st years from Class D. Which could mean that they might be finding partners there." he said
"What about you Kiyotaka? did Class S find any partners?" he asked
"Yes, but I am helping the others to find their partners since they haven't found anyone yet" I replied
"Ohh okay. Well, good luck to you Kiyotaka" Keisei said before hanging up
"Alright, so where is this Amasawa anyway?" Houtarou asked
"We'll find her" I said
We made it to the mall as we met Amasawa by the store. She gave us a list on what we need to buy for the meal. Some standard stuff like ingredients, pots, a knife but it's quite odd that she's letting us by these since I have half of the stuff on her list that I can use in the kitchen. It was strange but I allowed it. The four of us headed to our dorm and wanted us to begin.
"Alright senpais, first of all using phones is prohibited and Ayanokouji-senpai is not allowed to help." Amasawa said
"I want you two to make Tom Yum Goong" she added
"What?" Sakuta asked
"I've never even made this dish before" Houtarou said
"Don't worry senpais, I know you can do it. You're all from Class S, right? so, you must be able to figure this out" she said, does she expect these two to cook something they're unfamiliar with? Actually, I did anticipate this which is why I secretly slipped earpieces to Houtarou and Sakuta in which I had Asuna and Miyuki (Shiba) respectively connected to them so that they can help them how to do it. The two girls never cooked it before, but they can search up the recipe and methods to help instruct these two. We're already at the kitchen and they both started. I was mere just an observer in all this.
"Ohh don't forget to give me an apple as well" Amasawa ordered, guess that explains the knife she wanted us to buy.
Both of them cooked to the best of their ability with Asuna instructing Houtarou and Miyuki instructing Sakuta. After about 30 minutes. They both presented their dish to Amasawa along with the apples as well.
She began tasting both dishes as we patiently waited for her to announce the winner.
"hmm, both dishes aren't too bad. Nice color, good taste, even the presentation is neat" she said
"Anyways I'll just check the kitchen if there is anything suspicious" she added as she went to the kitchen
"Why?" I asked but she didn't answer
"Ohh yeah who wins?" Sakuta asked
"To be honest I can't choose, so both of you are winners I guess"
"But you can't have two partners at the same time" Houtarou said
"I know but I'll just choose you Oreki-senpai and you Azusagawa-senpai, I'll just ask one of my classmates to partner with you since I have one in my class who doesn't have a partner yet." she explained
