Chapter 115: New and old threats rise

3rd person POV

Chiaki: I wish we could go on the school trip with the others. I've never even been to Hokkaido before. 

Hajime: same here, it does suck that the 3rd years aren't involved in this trip, I bet they're having a lot of fun right now. 

Nazuna: Yeah, we could've been hanging out with Ayanokouji-kun right now. 

Fuka: Kouhai-kun did beat Miyabi but unfortunately things have gotten boring again, seriously I might just have to compete with Kouhai-kun this time if that's the case.

Chiaki: You'll get your chance Fuka-san 

Hajime: Hey, Chiaki-san, I heard the next special exam is coming soon after the 2nd year's school trip which involves all year levels. Care to spare some details? 

Chiaki: Sorry, I'm afraid I can't just tell any of you. Besides the exams are being made with the help of the student council, so pretty much that information is only known to the student council, faculty and the chairman himself.

Nazuna: So, in short no spoilers. 

Chiaki: Exactly Nazuna-san, hmm? 

The group suddenly stops the moment Nanami stopped walking 

Fuka: Is something wrong Chiaki-chan? 

Chiaki: Look there 

She points towards a familiar figure who was talking with some of the 1st years. 

It was Nagumo along with Vice President Kiriyama who was talking to both Utomiya and Hosen.

Nazuna: Miyabi? what's he up to? 

Fuka: Looks like the former president finally stopped crying in the corner 

Nazuna: haha! good one Fuka-chan 

As the four watched, Nagumo shook hands with Utomiya as both parties left in different directions. 

Nagumo and Kiriyama were heading towards the four. 

Nagumo: Well fancy meeting you here, president Nanami 

Nagumo was glaring at the petite president. 

Chiaki: What are you up to this time? you are well aware that you don't have any power over this school anymore. 

Nagumo: I know but it won't stop me from expelling Ayanokouji, and given your nature, you wouldn't just expel me on the spot without good reason

Chiaki: You were conversing with those 1st years, plotting something?

Nagumo: Not at all Ms. President, it's only a few months left before graduation. Would there be a point if I do something with so little time left?

Nanami and Nagumo were glaring at each other eye-to-eye 

Chiaki: Of course, there wouldn't be since your vision of meritocracy isn't going to come to fruition since you won't be here anymore. 

Nagumo: That is true 

Chiaki: Well, we'll be on our way now 

Nanami and her group walks past Nagumo after that conversation. 

Hajime: I don't trust him 

Fuka: Same here, he's planning to expel Kouhai-kun, that smug expression on his face says it all. 

Nazuna: What are we going to do Chiaki-chan?

Chiaki: Hajime-kun, could you do me a favor? 

Hajime: Uggh sure
