after interning with the dodgers, vanessa had gotten a job fresh out of college. she had already lived in la, and had grown up with her father and her brother being big dodgers fans. she couldn't wait to call and let them know that she had was now the newest member of the dodger team.
she dialed in her brothers number and put the phone on speaker. she was basically shaking so bad that she couldn't hold her phone.
"hey ness!"
"hi jay! i have some news for you," you could hear her smile through the phone.
"ooooh, what's up??"
"you know that job i applied for at the dodgers?"
"yeah?"
"well..."
there was a slight moment of silence.
"i got it!!!"
"you did!?"
"yep!! for real!!"
"that's amazing sis!! cant wait to come and see you at games"
"i'll have to hook u up with some free tickets," she couldn't contain her excitement for her future.
