vanessa put her phone back on her nightstand. if she was lucky, she'd be at dodger stadium today. but unfortunately she is not.
this was their first practice without her, and she still hasn't received word from dave. but she knew that getting out would ease her stress.
that morning, she got dressed for her adventure for the day. she had only been to anaheim a few times, so this would be unfamiliar to her.
in the car, she called trea as he was on his way to the stadium.

"how are you?"
"i'm good, how are you?"
"i'm good. what are you up to today?"
"im on my way to practice, then i'll probably just relax at home for a bit. what about you?"
"im going to anaheim to see g"
"yankees are at the angels?"
"yeah, he said he had nothing to do today so im going down to see him,"
