Steve:„hey y/n..."
I sat up and he pulled me on his lap.
Bucky:„how are you?"
Y/n:„scared...why did you leave me...?"
Steve:„oh darling we didn't! You just got distracted...and that's ok! You know...every kid gets lost! I got lost too!"
Y/n:„when?"
Steve;„it was on my birthday and there was a crowd of people while we all were watching the fireworks and well I couldn't see anything and suddenly everyone was gone!"
Bucky:„that happened as you turned sixteen darling!"
Steve:„we don't talk about it!'
They chuckled and I started tearing up again.
Bucky:„oh baby...we are so so sorry...we really didn't want to leave you there...come here!"
He picked me up and I cried into his shoulder.
Bucky:„its ok...it's ok!"
Y/n:„i didn't want too..."
Bucky:„we said that it's ok!"
Steve:„how's your throat darling?'
I couldn't stop crying for the rest of the day to be honest until tony came into the compound with the Christmas tree we decided to buy earlier.
Steve:„oh y/n look!'
Bucky:„wow you made a good choice look at it!'
I looked up and stopped crying.
Tony;„peach it's wonderful!'
I smiled and dad wiped my tears away.
Y/n:„can we decorate it...?"
Steve:„yeah tony just needs to bring us the ornaments and the others to help us!"
After an hour we were all hanging up the ornaments on the Christmas tree.
Dad sat me down on his shoulders so I could hang them up a bit higher.
Steve:„oh you are taking y/n?"
Bucky;„yep and never giving her back!'
Steve:„oh alright!"
He grabbed Natasha and then I saw how her hand reached higher than mine.
Steve:„mhm...Nat you are really heavy!'
Nat:„oh really?"
She jumped down and tried to pick up daddy.
Nat:„rogers you are-"
They felt back on the couch and everyone started laughing.
Bucky:„are you alright?"
Nat:„yeah..."
Bucky:„i was asking Steve!"
Nat:„gentleman!'
They stood up and as we finished with decorating I asked if we could bake Christmas cookies so we did.
We even watched a Christmas movie and I really didn't want to fall asleep cause I wanted to see Santa Clause.
Bucky:‚y/n it's time for bed!'
Y/n:„no...please not yet..."
Bucky:„when do you wanna go?"
Y/n:„later..."
My eyelids felt heavier from time to time and I felt asleep.
In the morning I jumped up as fast as possible and ran into my dad's room with buddy who was barking.
Bucky:‚hm...?"
Y/n:„christmas...!"
They chuckled and sat up.
Steve:„let's go downstairs hm?'
We walked downstairs where everyone was sitting on the couch.
They gave eachother their gifts and after they were done my dad's an me walked upstairs into my room.
Suddenly there was a little Christmas tree with a lot of presents.
I gave them their Christmas present and started opening mine.

We saw how her face light up as she saw her first present.
It was a fort for buddy and her or when she just needed to be alone.
We bought her some dolls, toys for buddy, new hockey things (of course it was a gift from tony! Cause we put the gifts form the others under the tree too!)
Then she pulled out a box and as she opened it she saw shoes.
Y/n:„shoes...!"
Bucky:„ballet shoes!"
Y/n:„i will take ballet lessons...?!"
We nodded and she started jumping around.
