In the morning we all got dressed and drove to go shopping.
I wanted to drive so y/n put her hand on my lap and left it there until we arrived.
Then she grabbed after my hand again and we walked inside.
As I wanted to pay I suddenly saw a condom box.
Steve:„uhm sorry ma'am could I put this back?"
Woman:„there are so much people waiting behind you sir! And I just started working here so could you please take it?"
Steve:„a-alright..."
I put it into the bag and we walked to the car.
Steve:„why did you buy the condoms?"
Bucky:„I didn't!"
Y/n:„I did!"
Steve:„what? Why?"
Y/n:„I don't want you to get pregnant!"
Bucky:„alright uhm y/n...men can't get pregnant! Remember?"
Y/n:„then why did you have them?"
Steve:„to not get ill!"
Y/n:„oh...yeah..."
Bucky:„y/n...you alright?"
Steve:„why are you asking her?"
Bucky:„cause last time she answered these really hard medical questions and now she forgot that men can't get pregnant..."
Y/n:„I forgot that...I-"
Steve:„hey it's ok! That's nothing you should worry about!"
Y/n:„I'm so stupid!"
She let go of me and put her hands on her head.
Y/n:„why am I so stupid!?"
Steve:„hey y/n maybe you sh-"
Y/n:„ugh! I'm so dumb!"
Steve:„calm down darling!"
People started looking at her as she started crying and smacking her head.
Bucky:„alright y/n y/n y/n stop stop stop! Ok? Come here it's ok! You forgot! We forget a lot of stuff!"
Y/n:„b-but I- ugh! It's- just I ugh! I can't forget!"
Steve:„let's get you into the car hm?"
After she sat down she started smiling again.
Y/n:„what are we gonna cook today?"
Bucky and I looked at each other and drove home.
Bucky:„we don't know!"
As we arrived we put her upstairs into her room and sat down on her bed.
Steve:„y/n can we talk?"
Y/n:„mhm!"
Bucky:„alright...as we walked out of the store you had a little meltdown right?"
Y/n:„hm...no!"
She started playing with her doll so I took it and put it aside.
Steve:„we are just asking cause you never had this!"
Y/n:„I didn't have a meltdown!"
Bucky:„but it looked like one!"
Y/n:„I DIDNT HAVE A MELTDOWN!"
Steve:„alright y/n...calm down..."
She started playing around again and we walked downstairs.
Nat:„uhhh she let go of you!"
Steve:„yeah and now we have another problem! She started having these meltdowns and screaming around!"
Bucky:„yeah and afterwards she's acting like nothing happened!"
Clint:„it's normal guys don't worry! A lot of kids have this!"
As we had lunch y/n walked downstairs and we started talking to the others.
Steve:„well the last mission was a-"
Y/n:„UGH! I'm so dumb! Stupid!"
She started smacking herself again so I grabbed after her hands and pulled them down.
Bucky:„baby you ok? What happened?"
Y/n:„Let me go!"
Steve:„why did you call yourself stupid?"
Y/n:„I can't even hold a fork!"
She started kicking the table so I picked her up and walked upstairs with her.
Steve:„y/n hey...calm down please!"
I looked at her worried as she sat down and stopped kicking me.
Steve:„maybe you wanna talk a bit?"
She shook her head no and started playing around with her hands.
