Y/n:„i wanna go to the vet! I wanna see buddy!"
Bucky:„y/n calm down! He's fine!"
Suddenly Steve called me so I picked up.
Steve:„im gonna need your help here..."
Bucky:„what happened? Is he..."
Steve:„no! Not dead! But maybe...?"
Bucky;„what do you mean by maybe?!"
Y)n;„he is dead?!"
She started crying louder and I pulled over.
Bucky:„you hear her crying?! What's going on?"
Steve:„i don't know! Just come here please!"
Bucky:„you are making me crazy!"
We drove to the vet and as we arrived y/n wanted to run out but I sat her back down into the car.
Bucky:„you will stay here ok? I can't take you with me!"
Y)n:„no! I wanna see buddy!"
Bucky:„y/n you can't!'
I locked her in the car and ran over to Steve who was waiting in front of the building.
Bucky:„so? What the hell is going on?"
Steve:„he won't be able to walk for a long time! They must operate him cause the car drove over his spine and it's broken-"
Bucky:„i thought he died Steven! You sounded so scared and sad!'
Steve:„i was scared and sad!'
Bucky:„alright sorry...when can we take him home?"
Steve:„uh well... tomorrow!'
Bucky:„tomorrow? Y/n's gonna freak out!"
Steve:„i know!"
Bucky:„alright...but we must tell her!"
We walked back to the car and I opened her door.
Bucky:‚y/n calm down!"
Y/n:„where is buddy?"
Steve:„well he must stay here until tomorrow!'
Y/n:„tomorrow?..."
Bucky:„yeah but that's ok! We can make a suprise for him hm?"
Y/n:„like what...?"
Bucky:„built up the fort, make it comfortable everywhere for him!"
Y/n:„ok..."
She started tearing up and crawled into my arms.
Bucky:„hey...what's going on? Is it because of buddy?"
Y/n:„what if he's gonna die...?"
Steve:„oh princess! He's not gonna die!"
Y/n:„okay..."
I waited until she calmed down and sat her back into her child seat.
Bucky:„should daddy or I drive with you?"
She shrugged her arms so I let Steve drive.

Steve:„hey wanna get something to eat?'
I shook my head no but still hoped that he would buy something...
Steve:„no? Well I'm still gonna buy us something!'

After we ate he sat me into the front seat and I started asking him questions.
Y/n:„what's wrong with buddy?'
Steve:„why?"
Y/n:„why can't he go home today?'
Steve:„cause his spine is broken..."
Y/n:„ouch..."
Steve:„mhm...so honey...why don't you think about something different? I mean buddy is a big part of your life but he also-"
Y/n:„No!"
Steve:„ok ok...sorry!"
As we arrived at home I ran upstairs and started building up the fort and making it comfortable in my room.
Suddenly my dad's were standing in the doorway.
Bucky:„hey...you did that without us!"
Y/n;„sorry...I just wanted to start..."
Steve:„ah no it's fine!'
Y/n:„okay..."
I sat down on my bed and wanted to think of something else but it didn't work...
Suddenly I felt my dad's sitting down next to me and daddy putting his arm around me.
I clung up to him and didn't let go...not even as he wanted to change and go to sleep.
Steve:„princess...hey i know it's hard cause buddy isn't here but now it's sleeping time...so let me go and I will put you to bed hm?"
