Avni's pov

I had returned to my room after having dinner since i was tired. Dad told us that we will be having our reception the day after tomorrow and then i will go for the pagphera rasm. Having a reception means more shopping!! Shopping se yaad aya that store employee was really wierd i mean wherever i went he was following me, i may be overthinking. Shit i need to hide the lingeries! How can i even forget those .... mom made me buy those for our honeymoon.

I walked over to the bags and took out the victoria secret bag. I peeked inside looking at the colourful lingeries and undergarments i was 'forced' to buy but along with that a note kept inside. As being a curious cat i opened the note

My little dove, how are you? I saw you after so long and trust me now i donot have plans to step back. Surely i will make you mine and take you far far away with me somewhere we both will be at peace. You know whats more exciting? You became the wife of my enemy which makes me want you more. What in the world is this shit! Cold sweats started forming on forehead ... who is this? Why does he want me? Black lingerie .... he saw me naked. A gasp left my mouth, the opening of the door caught my attention as i stuffed the bag in the cupboard and walked out of the closet.

" you didnt sleep?" Aarav kept his watch on the side table
" nahi, badshah salamat ka intezaar far ma rahi thi k kab kamre mai kadm rakhai gai aur apne sarey huai chehray ka dedaar kar wai gai" [ no i was waiting for his highness to step a foot in the room and give me a view of his boring face] he squinted his eyes and looked at me

" thankyou for this un-needed respect" i rolled my eyes at him but was soon lifted and threw on the bed like a sack of potatoes. How can !! He got in the bed and pulled me closer but i rolled on the other side showing attitude. " isnt that tongue of yours too much in use nowadays?"
" god gifted me tongue to speak why should i keep silent huh woh alag baat hai k apko meri awaaz buri lagti hai" [thats another thing that you donot like my voice]i hid in the sheets acting very upset. The next moment the sheets were off my body and he was hovering above me " i am in love with your every inch, everything about you makes my obsession for you grow stronger" he caressed my cheek as i stared in his eyes. Hazel. He kissed my forehead and plopped beside me. Breaking the comfortable silence he spoke up

avni?" Shit naam le k bulaya hai mamla kuch sangeen hoga "hmm"
"Tell me honestly, how did you get that bruise on you feet?"he sounded damn serious. I slowly turned towards him, he is staring as if he will kill me now. I gulped and slowly brought my hand upto his light stubble and caressed it " avni, i want the truth" he deadpanned. I was fumbling with my words " umm a-arav ji i told you na i accidentally stubbed my foot on the counter" he hummed and the continued " if i would have known about this before i would have never allowed you to go to the mall" i smiled at his protective nature. " what if i wanted to go" i kept my chin on his chest and drew circles with my finger " i would have ordered the designers to come here" i sighed as i patted his chest in a rythm.

"Thats too much aarav ji, i know you have a lot of money but you should not spend it like this especially on me, i donot wish for luxury and stuff. Today what you did was unnecessary-" he cut me off in the middle " i earn for you my love if i wouldnt spend it on you or my family whats the use of having so much money and i swear i would go to any extent to protect that pretty smile of yours."  I just shook my head negitively since i knew  it was useless to argue with him. 

I suddenly remembered about the pagphera rasm and my extended stay, if i start convincing him today he will probably agree on that day only" after our reception,we have a rasm i mean its for me and i am telling you i will stay with dadu for atleast 3 days because after that we will leave" his eyes snapped open as if i told him that i am leaving him forever. " you arent going anywhere little miss" i looked at him confuse. " bhai? Aap hotai kon ho hamare baap dada ki traditions per apni 2 foot ki tang arane walai?!"[ who are you to bring your 2 foot long in between out forfathers traditions] I glared at him. " bhai? Seriously? I am your husband avni!" He shook his head in disbelief

" aapne mere pure sentence mai yehi suna hai kia? Bs buhat hua jo mujhe bolna tha maine boldia ab no discussions" [you listened to this only in my whole sentence? Its enough now what i wanted to say i have said now no discussions] i pointed my finger at him but he bit it softly. " you wont go anywhere" i sat on the bed and stared at him. " i will go! Aap hotai kon hai mujhe Avni Aarav Malhotra ko rokne walai!" [ Who are you to stop me avni aarav malhotra to stop] He also sat up and leaned on the head board. " i am Aarav Malhotra your husband" he folded his arms on his chest " kya matlab husband hain tou sar pe nache gai?!"[ what does that mean, if you are my husband then you will dance on my head] My nose flared with anger. " why do you need do go for 3 days love? I will drop you in the morning and pick you at night that would be enough" maro mujhe maro[ hit me ]

" mai tou jao gi!"[ i will go] I harshly laid down turning off the lamp i covered myself with the blanket and in no time sleep engulfed me.
