Dinner was at this restaurant that wasn't too fancy. It served the usual steak and stuff but the menu was damn expensive.

Good thing I wasn't paying for shit because of Erin's challenge which they inevitably lost.

To no surprise, George did get Erin the most expensive meal on the menu. He also allowed her to get as much drinks as she wanted and paid for it.

I felt bad for the fact he was paying so I settled with one drink and a meal that wasn't too expensive.

I hated receiving gifts from people because I felt like I owed them something. It kind of sucks considering Nick really loved doing things for me and that included him constantly buying me things when I barely even look at it.

Everyone else tried to take advantage of the free food so Clay and Nick also ordered a shit ton of food just to spite George.

And like expected, Erin got drunk from all the drinks she ordered. Nick was also getting there with how much alcohol he was consuming.

I really fear for Erin's liver. She drinks way too much. I'm concerned she will end up being an alcoholic if she wasn't already.

I could feel Nick's stare from right next to me as I slowly sipped on my drink. I don't know what he was staring at but I was trying hard to ignore it because what the fuck do I even say?

But I did eventually turn to him to see what he was staring so intently at.

His face was all red from the alcohol. He was just staring at me with a smile. He looked adorable but then also kinda like a drunk idiot staring into space.

"You're so red" I brought my hand to his face and gazed his cheek with my thumb. His face was so hot. Literally. It was burning hot.

"Because you're so pretty." He mumbled with his voice toned in a way that sounded like he was talking to a child.

"Aww thank you." I smiled. "You're pretty too."

"Stop it, I have a girlfriend." His expression went from being in awe to completely grumpy for I guess 'hitting' on him when he has a girlfriend.

"Nick, that is your girlfriend." George stared at him with the most annoyed face I've ever seen him put on.

His wife was literally sitting still all zoned out while staring at George with heart eyes while my own boyfriend was getting mad at me for flirting with him when he had a girlfriend.

Well at least now I know he won't cheat even when he's drunk.

"Right, I forgot." As he comes to the realization of our relationship, he goes in and kisses me. His breath reeked of alcohol and his face was all burnt up from it.

"You fucking smell like alcohol" I rolled my eyes while lightly pushing him away. It was a public space and I didn't want this to go further. If Nick could forget that I'm his girlfriend, he could forget that we're in a public place.

"Well no shit Daphne, I'm drinking. But don't worry, I'm not actually drunk." His cheeky smile creeps into his face and all of a sudden I have a guy so much bigger than me putting all his weight on my shoulder. Why the fuck is his head so heavy? he does this to me all the time but it's never this fucking heavy.

"He's drunk. He has a defense mechanism because his mom hates it when he comes home drunk in high school and college." George snorts. "It never worked though for very obvious reasons."

I scoffed and gently let him off my shoulder. It fucking hurt like a bitch.

"Wisteria, I need to go to the bathroom. Come with me." I watched her nod and stand up from my chair.
