2 months have went by, and during those 2 months both Gwen, and Tim took advantage of savoring every moment with Benjamin. Gwen worked hard during those two months she bounced right back to pre pregnancy body, and she never felt better. Today was Gwen's first day back to work she couldn't help but feel happy but sad. Tamara was on her way over to the house to baby sit Benjamin. After both Gwen and Lucy begged Tim to let Tamara babysit he finally caved in, and hired the teen.
Gwen took time getting ready for work she made sure she pumped before she got dressed. She did her hair and makeup and did a look over once more before walking downstairs. Tim was holding Benjamin in his arms as he fed him the bottle. He was getting bigger with each week that went on.
"You look great" Tim complimented once Gwen came into his vision. Gwen smiled and got everything ready for Tamara.
"Thank you" she said walking over to Tim and pecking his lips. She gently picked up Benjamin trying to sneak in some extra cuddles before she left. "Are you ready to go back?" Tim asked her as he placed the bottle into the sink. Gwen nodded as she thought about returning back. She was ready even though she loved every minute being with Ben. She was ready to get back out there.
The door bell rang causing Remy to bark. Gwen walked over as she burped Benjamin over her shoulder. She opened the door and Tamara came in with a warm welcome.
"Tamara! Thank you for doing this" Gwen said as she closed the door behind her. Tamara smiled removing her shoes, as she followed the blonde into the kitchen.
"Hey Bradford" Tamara greeted sitting on the barstool. Tim greeted her and slid the piece of paper with instructions over. Both Tim and Gwen worked on writing down Benjamin's day time routine.
"There is plenty of breast milk in the fridge if you have any questions please call either one of us" Gwen said handing over her baby.
Tamara nodded with a smile as she cradled Benjamin in her arms.
"I will, thank you. Have a good day guys" she said watching as they both left for work.
On the drive to work Gwen couldn't help but think about Benjamin. She thought she was ready to return back to work but she couldn't help but miss her sweet baby. She loved waking up every morning and sneaking into Benjamin's room to see how he was doing.
Tim looked over at her sensing she was thinking "Ben will be okay. First day is always hard" Tim said reaching his hand over to hers. Gwen nodded reassuring her self that everything was fine.
