The Spirit of Termination: (A Date A Live x Fate Grand Order Fanfic)

Fic Cancellation

Author note: Hello, 

As you readers have noticed, I haven't been updating the fic since last year. The reason that is because I had a lot in life to go through and I have actually drained myself to gain a lot of motivation to continue this fic due to several reasons:

1. Quality -  Honestly the beginning chapters of the fic were great, but I admit my writing started to fall off as I was dishing out chapters too quickly at the beginning and by the time I reached the arc where Mio and the MC started their battle I was already out of ideas

2. The flow of the story - As the fic progressed I also began to add things that werent necessary to the fic, including the MC's origin as master of Chaldea, and how he actually gained his powers. He was becoming what I didn't want to write, which was a typical Self Insert Gary Stu despite the presence of one as an antagonist. If I were to rewrite the fic I would definitely make the MC a lot weaker and have a much more flawed personality,.

3. Real Life - Currently I am dealing with my current studies in uni, plus around July last year I had started going outside a lot more and socializing with a lot of people, which was when the fic began to slow in progress. I admit I have picked up a much better hobby which is of photography and honestly it has made me a much better person than being on my computer all the time trying to complete the fic.

So to conclude I am going to say the fic is cancelled, however I can reveal what I had planned for the fic and how it would end, as I already had a conclusion in mind for this story.

-  The Monster(Now revealed as Huwawa, albeit combined with other entities ) rampages through the city destroying and killing everything in it's path, growing stronger overtime it kills. DEM and Ratatoskr form a temporary alliance to stop it after Westcott realizes that the Monster's actions will not benefit him. Even then it takes Gilgamesh's intervention to weaken the monster as he is confiscating it's power from the card in the "Crystal"

- Mash at some point does get corrupted by the substance that the Huwawa is spewing and attempts to kill the other Chaldeans, but Kurumi shoots and kills her. Y/N and his harem escape from the carnage along with Ellen's corpse in tow, but is upset he was unable to get Mash's corpse so he could reincarnate her as one of his Harem members.

- After Huwawa is defeated and Elias is set free, the Chaldean and spirits's berate him for the loss of their member and causing a lot of destruction. They abandon him while Elias does nothing but show no emotions, just dead eyes. At some point he departs to Mongolia.

- In Mongolia, Elias is ambushed by Goetia and Shido(The future one), who has revealed to have survived due to Y/N's intervention and had been transformed his female alter Ego Shiori . She wants revenge for what had happened and vows to kill Elias. Elias is outmatched, and nearly accepts death until a vision of his former comes into his mind and encourages him to fight for what is right. Elias uses all his words to sway Shiori to his side and tells her the real antagonist is Y/N. 

- Goetia angered by this betrayal tries to kill both the spirits until Mio joins in. Goetia and Mio are stalemated even due to their destructive prowess, but Elias uses this as a chance to kill Mio by stabbing her at the back with his Fake copy of Ea. Mio, angered that she got backstabbed critically injures Elias, costing him a lot of his power. Goetia retreats as he realizes something is going back in Paraguay

 - Elias, with the nearly destroyed class card torn out of his chest summons Gilgamesh, who praises him for providing him entertainment and will help him take down the threats of Goetia, Westcott and Y/N. Elias also attempts to Summon his former Saber Yamato Takeru from his Chaldea experience but is only given Kusanagi no Tsurugi 

- Chaldea travels to Paraguay where they get ambushed by Y/N and get captured. Goetia arrives and question's Y/Ns goals, only for Y/N to completely destroy his mind and transform him into his origin function

- Elias's team travel to Paraguay and while Shiori frees the captured group Elias and Gilgamesh confront Y/N and Goetia. They begin to fight their respective opponents.

- Gilgamesh ultimately loses to Goetia as Enuma elish isn't powerful enough to overpower Ars Almadel Salomonis. Gilgamesh rather than being sent back to the throne instead is grabbed by an unknown entity, presumably the one that resurrected Goetia. Goetia finally awakens and realizes that Y/N betrayed him for his own selfish goals

- While this is happening the Chaldeans deal with the army of spirits. DEM and Ratatoskr intervene but Westcott is sniped at some point by one of the members of the other party, while Elliot gets heavily injured in the crossfire.

- Elias almost instantly loses to Y/N due to his multiversal power, however voices from other dimension calls out to him and grants him a power that could negate the Male Reader's OPness. It's the same weapon that was used to Kill Manaka Sajyou a long time ago. The weapon shatters and fuses with his body

- Elias now even, now beats up Y/N in a brutal manner, scarring his face and shattering his bones. Y/N, now with wounds he could not have gained ever in his life post gaining his powers begins to get serious and unleashes the full power of his multiversal power. However Goetia comes by and assists against Y/N

- Y/N in a fit of rage kills Goetia but this provides an opportunity for Elias to Stab Y/N's heart and also destroy the theatre universe that Y/N created.

- Y/N now weakened gets brutally beaten by Elias, all his limbs torn apart and his face and body disfigured completely. Y/N grabs excalibur and attempts to use it on Elias while charging at him but because he warped Excalibur completely of it's purpose and magic it shatters instantly. Elias finishes off Y/N by tossing him into a cave and blowing it up

- The Chaldeans forgive Elias but Mio, revealed to have survived due to a third party butchers Da Vinci, and both Ritsukas, before Vaporising Elias leaving the fragments of his Qlipha crystal.
