Genesis 1-3

In the beginning, God spoke with might,
Creating the world, oh what a sight!
The heavens and earth, His masterpiece,
Formed by His word, each detail released.

In Genesis 1, the story unfolds,
Days of creation, as God foretold,
From light to dark, and sea to land,
He crafted a world with His loving hand.

Then came the pinnacle, oh so grand,
Man and woman, made in His plan,
In His own image, they were designed,
To reflect His love, to shine and to find.

But in Genesis 3, the serpent came near,
Tempting Eve with doubt and fear,
She took the fruit, though warned by God,
And humanity fell, with sin's heavy rod.

Yet in this darkness, a promise did shine,
A Savior would come, the divine design,
From the seed of woman, redemption would spring,
Restoring our souls, and making us clean.

So, let us remember this tale so old,
The fall and the promise, the story foretold,
For in Genesis 1-3, we come to know,
God's faithfulness and His grace that still flows.
