Exodus 27-30

In Exodus 27, the altar is revealed,
A place of sacrifice, where sins are healed.
Made of acacia wood and covered in bronze,
A symbol of surrender, where mercy dawns.

The courtyard is described, a sacred space,
Where worshippers gather, seeking God's embrace.
With linen curtains and pillars tall,
A place where God's presence can freely fall.

Exodus 28 unveils the priestly attire,
Garments of splendor, set ablaze with holy fire.
The ephod, breastplate, and the robe so fine,
Adorned with precious stones, a divine design.

The priests, chosen by God, set apart,
To intercede for the people's every heart.
With garments of beauty, they stand in awe,
Representing the people, drawing them closer to the Law.

In Exodus 29, the consecration is revealed,
A ceremony of offerings, where sins are sealed.
Anointing with oil, a sign of God's grace,
Setting apart His servants for a holy place.

Exodus 30 speaks of the holy incense,
A fragrant offering, a symbol of His presence.
And the cleansing of the altar, with blood applied,
Atonement is made, sins washed away, sanctified.

Reflect on these verses, dear one, and see,
How God established a way for us to be free.
Through sacrifice and priesthood, He offers His love,
Drawing us closer to Him, to Heaven above.

So let us approach His throne, with hearts sincere,
Knowing that His mercy is always near.
Embrace His cleansing, His grace so pure,
And let His love and forgiveness forever endure.
