Genesis 4-6
In Genesis 4, a tale of two brothers,
Cain and Abel, each with their own colors.
Both brought offerings to the Lord above,
But only Abel's sacrifice found favor and love.Out of jealousy, Cain's heart did grow dark,
And he slew his brother in a field so stark.
But God saw the blood cry out from the ground,
And Cain was marked, a wanderer forever bound. In Genesis 5, a lineage unfolds,
From Adam to Noah, the story it holds.
Generations passed, with each name and age,
A reminder of mortality, a humbling stage. Then in Genesis 6, a sad sight befalls,
Wickedness and corruption filled the halls.
But Noah found favor in God's loving eyes,
An upright man, righteous and wise. So, God revealed His plan to Noah's ears,
To build an ark, and conquer his fears.
Animals came in pairs, a precious trust,
As God's judgment on the earth was just.
