Exodus 24-26

In Exodus 24, God called Moses to ascend,
To the mountaintop, His glory to apprehend.
With seventy elders, they beheld the divine,
A feast in His presence, a moment so fine.

Upon the sapphire pavement, they stood in awe,
As they glimpsed the God of Israel, without flaw.
His feet like transparent glass, shining bright,
A sight that filled their hearts with pure delight.

Moses alone went further, up on high,
To receive the tablets, God's law from the sky.
Forty days and nights, with God he did converse,
In His sacred presence, he was truly immersed.

In Exodus 25, God gave a directive,
To construct a sanctuary, a place reflective,
Of His glory and holiness, a dwelling divine,
The Ark of the Covenant, where His presence would shine.

With pure gold and acacia wood, they did create,
The Ark, a symbol of God's love and fate.
A mercy seat, with cherubim, it was adorned,
Where God would meet with Moses, His words adorned.

In Exodus 26, the construction plan was laid,
The intricate details, with precision displayed.
Curtains of fine linen, and goat hair too,
Covering the tabernacle, woven with skill so true.

In the holy of holies, the ark was enshrined,
A place of reverence, where God's glory would bind.
The tabernacle, a reminder of God's faithful care,
A symbol of His presence, with His people to share.

Reflect on these chapters, and let them remind,
Of God's covenant love, eternally bind.
His glory and presence, He longs to impart,
In our lives, in our worship, let Him reign in our heart.
