Genesis 7-10

In Genesis 7, the waters did rise,
As God's judgment fell from the skies.
Noah and his family, safe in the ark,
As creatures great and small made their embark.

Forty days and nights, the rain poured down,
Upon the earth, now submerged, drowned.
But hope remained within the ark's embrace,
As God kept His promise, His saving grace.

In Genesis 8, the waters started to wane,
As the ark found rest on Mount Ararat's terrain.
Noah sent out a dove, seeking land,
But it returned with no trace of solid strand.

One more try, the dove flew out once more,
And returned with an olive leaf, a symbol to adore.
The earth was drying, life would soon emerge,
As God's covenant with Noah would firmly surge.

In Genesis 9, a rainbow across the sky,
A sign of God's promise, never to deny.
Noah and his family set foot on the ground,
As a new beginning was joyously found.

Now in Genesis 10, the nations did arise,
As the descendants of Noah multiplied in size.
From Shem, Ham, and Japheth, their families grew,
Spreading across the earth, a diverse view.
