Genesis 44-46

In Genesis 44, a tale of deep distress,
Joseph, reunited with his brothers, put them to the test.
He planted a silver cup in Benjamin's sack,
To see if they would abandon him and turn their backs.

As they journeyed on, their hearts filled with dread,
The silver cup discovered, accusations were spread.
Torn with anguish, overwhelmed by remorse,
The brothers returned to Joseph, their lives now enforced.

Joseph, gazing upon them, saw their pain and strife,
He revealed his true identity, his compassion in full life.
"Come close to me," he said, "do not be afraid,
For it was God's plan that brought us here today."

In Genesis 45, a scene of tears and grace,
Joseph embraced his brothers in a warm, loving embrace.
Forgiveness poured forth, a healing balm of peace,
A family reconciled, their brokenness finally ceased.

Jacob, their father, received the news with shock,
But as he saw Joseph's chariot, his heart could hardly block.
His beloved son, once lost, now found,
God's providence at work, in full sight and sound.

In Genesis 46, Jacob braved the unknown,
He journeyed to Egypt, leaving Canaan as his home.
God assured him, "I will go with you, have no fear,"
And Jacob trusted, for the Lord's voice was clear.

Pounder, brothers and sisters , on this tale of strength and grace,
Amidst trials and tests, God's hand held every trace.
In forgiveness, in reunion, in a father's joyous tears,
We witness the power of God, erasing all fears.
