I put my ringer on and started cleaning up around the house. I knew Will would come over, I had no doubt in my mind about it.

"What are you doing?" Steph asked, walking into the living room.

"I'm cleaning. Izzy and Tom got into a fight. She's in like hysterics right now. She said she needed to come over and I know Will, he won't say no to that. So now I'm cleaning because he'll be here soon." I explained.

"Is Izzy okay?" Steph asked.

"I don't think so, Steph. You work tomorrow, right?"

"Yes, and so do you."

"I'm calling in sick. Izzy's more important to me. Plus, I know Will is a panicked mess right now because Izzy's friend is coming with them and he's already gone through one meeting interaction today and-"

"You need to breathe for a minute, because you are the panicked mess right now." Steph said, placing her hands on my shoulders to get me to stop fluffing the couch pillows. I closed my eyes and took a deep breath. I opened them to see Steph smiling at me. "Better?"
