"Are you okay?"

"I am fine."

"You don't need to act."

"I am not acting, I'm fine. Now get lost."

"The dude called you a terrorist. It is okay to say you aren't okay."

"What do you want me to do? Cry? Scream? Curse?"

"No, I want you to show some emotions."

"I really am fine, it isn't a big-"

"He asked if you had a gun in your scarf, that isn't a big deal?"

"No-"

"He said, he was afraid you would shoot him. He asked, if you carried a bomb around with you. He told, no he commanded you to go back to your country. And, you say it isn't a big deal."

"Poop-"

"You have got to tell the school, tell the headteacher."

"Listen-"

"You can't let him do that, talk to you like that!"

"Listen to me. Don't talk just listen, this isn't a big deal. What he said doesn't effect me at all because I don't care."

"You don't care?"

"Why should I care? At the end of the day, they are just words."

"This has happened often, hasn't it?"

"Yes, I just don't care."

"Did you care before, show some emotion."

"Fine, the first time someone said that I was nine and I cried. Happy?"

"Not the slightest."

"Well you can't do anything."

"Oh, I wouldn't be so sure."

"You seem angry."

"I'll talk to you tomorrow, I have some business to attend to."

"Hey! Wait, don't-"

I have entered this book into the Watty Awards, I wanted this {short} chapter to raise the awareness of what some Muslim girls {and boys} go through {not many but some}. I hope none of you go through it but I know it occurs. Have a lovely summer!
