What a match it was last night!
I was studying the whole day and couldn't watch the match until 9:00 pm.
And that's when the runs needed for virat's century were exactly the same as those needed for us winning the match and I was kinda sad that I won't be able to see him hit his century.
It mattered to me because I can count all the Indian centuries I've watched with my fingers, it's that less. And I've missed Rohit's century as well as I was studying for my exam ( I've opened hotstar when he was on 95 or something and watched him hit his century and returned back to studying 🥲)
But yesterday watching the century felt like he was doing that for me to watch him hit 💯. Because it's that rare for me to witness it live, especially with my mind fully concentrating on the match.
But I did watch the entire India's batting against Pakistan when Virat had hit 82* last year. That match is now etched as a core memory.
So anyways that's why even yesterday's century will be special for me for a different reason.
And here are a few of my favourite moments/ posts regarding yesterday.
This obviously had to be on the top of the list 🥹🩷
Thank you Rahul for being the reason I could watch it live. 🩷
I don't know when the next time will be when I'll get to see any of these guys hitting a century
