jihye pulled out a small box from her bag, and she passed it to him, her cheeks tinted slightly red. "open it."
felix did as she said, and his jaw dropped when he saw the present inside. there were two rings; one was thicker, with a heart-shaped hole inside, and the other was thinner, with a heart-shaped design on top. the heart on the smaller ring filled in the heart-shaped hole in the bigger ring.
"matching rings?" he asked softly, feeling soft and fluffy inside. jihye nodded slowly, and his eyes lit up. "i love it, jiji," he grinned at her. "do you want this one?" he asked, pointing to the thinner ring.
jihye nodded, happy that her best friend liked her gift. felix slipped the ring onto her right middle finger, and the girl couldn't help but be delusional.
him slipping a ring on her finger.
him kissing her at the wedding altar.

"jihye!" felix exclaimed, startling the girl. "are you okay? you zoned out for a bit," he asked, clearly concerned.
the girl nodded in response, knowing very well her face was bright red. "yup, i'm good. what were you saying?"
"do you wanna see my present?" felix asked, and as soon as jihye opened her mouth to speak, he interrupted her. "nope, you don't get a say in this," he told her mischievously.
he passed her a small jewellery box and indicated for her to open it, and jihye was surprised when she saw what was inside. it was a dainty necklace with a small silver butterfly pendant on it. it was gorgeous.
"oh, lixxie, i love it!" she exclaimed happily. "it's so cute."
just like you, felix thought in response, but out loud, he said, "i'm glad you like it. you better wear it for your debut showcase, yeah?"
seungmin (who had been very quiet, hoping to give his two friends the lovey-dovey time they needed) pitched in, "yeah, you better, hee."
jihye gave them both a wide grin. "duh."
