In the end, he and Angie didn't stay in their wolf forms for long, as they not only anticipated that their friends would have questions, but they also wanted to interact with them without the language barrier. Ryan was great when it came to translating, but Evan wanted him to spend more time with his friends on his own and not as his translator.

Surprisingly, though, no questions came up until Josh pulled out a bottle of vodka and declared it was game time.

"To keep us from drawing answers out of you, I think it's time for a nice round of Truth or Dare," he declared, waving the bottle in his hands to draw attention to it.

"And you say I'm the one who always starts the party," Lola remarked amusedly. Then she turned to Angie, who still held the seat next to her, and asked, "Do werewolves have parties?"

Before she could answer, a chuckle escaped Ryan, and Angie, who'd overheard, as well as Evan, curled her gaze up at him with a raised eyebrow. "I just remembered the bucket," he explained, shrugging innocently, though a smile still played on his face.

"A bucket?" Lola repeated after him. Angie rolled her eyes and sighed as if he was exaggerating, and it wasn't worth mentioning at all, but the opposite was true.

"Angie almost threw up on my bed," Michael interjected.

"That's not what happened at all," Angie retorted at the same moment Lola repeated with a smirk, "Your bed, huh?"

"I think Lola needs a crash course in your soulmate thing before things go south," Kieran remarked, making eye contact with Evan.

"Soulmate thing?" The blue-haired girl repeated in confusion.

"Every wolf has a soulmate, or rather, every supernatural being does. Wolves have mates, vampires have bounds, and witches have weaves," Angie explained briefly.

"Vampires and witches exist too?" Lola got hooked right away. Aiden, on the other hand, focused on something else from that sentence. "So Evan and Ryan are mates?"

"We are," Evan confirmed.

"Awww," Lola reacted, looking pleased with the revelation. "I knew right away that you two were made for each other."

"I'm sure you think that about all couples," Evan immediately pointed out to her.

"I can assure you that with Clara and Jacob, I knew right away that he was just the devil trying to suck the soul out of her," she remarked.

"True," Angie attested right away.

"Is the devil real?" Aiden asked, focusing on another part of Lola's statement, though his question wasn't directed at her.

"No," Evan replied at the same moment his mate uttered, "Maybe." And it wasn't just Evan who turned his head towards him in surprise. "What?!" he asked.

Ryan shrugged and replied, "Why not? Not that I've ever seen him, but it would make sense." He looked into Evan's eyes as he did so, as all the attention had turned to him, and it clearly made him slightly nervous.

"Angie should know best being his reincarnation," Aiden remarked suddenly, and the brunette just opened his mouth dumbly at first, shocked that he'd dared to say such a thing. The others had a good laugh at that, though, and chuckles sounded around the room.

"I think I'm going to need that bottle if I'm going to put up with this all night." She waved her hand in a vague direction, then reached over to Josh, who gladly handed her the bottle of liquor.

"One more thing in advance, werewolves need a lot more alcohol to get drunk," Evan informed everyone and then immediately reached out to Angie.

He gave his mate a brief glance to make sure he didn't have a problem with him drinking, though he doubted it, and when Ryan gave him a smile, he put the bottle to his mouth.
