Y/N pov

As the tension in the room thickened, I could sense the weight of the situation pressing down on all of us. Jay's steely gaze met mine, his expression conveying a mix of determination and concern.

"We need to tread carefully from here on out," Jay murmured, his voice barely above a whisper. "Whatever we're dealing with, it's bigger than any of us anticipated."

Sunghoon nodded in agreement, his jaw set with determination. "We can't afford to let our guard down," he added, his eyes scanning the room for any signs of danger.

With a shared sense of purpose, we returned to the task at hand, each of us steeling ourselves for the challenges that lay ahead. But even as we pressed forward, I couldn't shake the feeling of unease that gnawed at my insides.

As we delved deeper into the mystery surrounding Taehyung's hospitalization, I couldn't help but wonder what other secrets lay buried beneath the surface. Every clue we uncovered only seemed to lead to more questions, each one more confounding than the last.

With renewed resolve, we pressed forward, each step bringing us closer to the heart of the mystery. And as the shadows of the unknown loomed ever closer, I knew that no matter what lay ahead, we would face it together, united in our quest for justice and redemption.

As Sakura's  gaze bore into mine, a knot formed in the pit of my stomach. Her question hung in the air, heavy with implication. " Do you have anything to add Msr.kim" she asked.

I hesitated, my mind racing as I weighed my options. Could I tell them the truth? Could I reveal the dark secrets I had uncovered about my husband and his friends? The truth about their involvement in things far more sinister than I could have ever imagined?

But the words caught in my throat, trapped by fear and uncertainty. How could I betray them, even if it meant protecting others from harm? How could I admit that the men I loved were capable of such darkness?

So, with a heavy heart and a sense of guilt weighing on my conscience, I shook my head, denying any knowledge of what lay hidden beneath the surface.

Jay's gaze lingered on me, his expression inscrutable as he absorbed my response. "Ok then ," he said, his voice betraying nothing of his thoughts.

Turning to Sunghoon, I sought solace in his reassuring presence. "Did you make your presence known?" I asked, desperate for any sign that he had intervened to protect Taehyung and the others.

His response offered a small glimmer of relief. "No, Mrs. Kim. They wouldn't have noticed me. I made no sound," he explained, his words a balm to my frayed nerves. "I guess they were occupied with themselves, chit-chatting."

With a nod of understanding, I thanked him before excusing myself from the tense atmosphere of the makeshift interrogation room. As I made my way back to the hospital, my thoughts swirled with the weight of the secrets I carried, the burden of knowing what lay hidden beneath the facade of normalcy.

But for now, I pushed those thoughts aside, focusing instead on the familiar halls of the hospital and the comforting presence of Taehyung, Jin, and Jungkook. As I entered Taehyung's room once more, a sense of calm washed over me, momentarily easing the turmoil within.

As I settled into the hospital bed, my thoughts continued to whirl, a jumble of worries and fears crowding my mind. Taehyung, Jin, and Jungkook conversed animatedly beside me, their words drifting in and out of my consciousness as I struggled to focus.

Lost in my own thoughts, I barely noticed when Jungkook tapped my shoulder, his touch jolting me back to the present. With a sheepish smile, he and Jin announced their intention to buy lunch for us, leaving the hospital room momentarily empty.
