Alisha's POV:

After a long and tiring first day at college, Nandani and I finally made our way back to our hostel, grateful for the chance to unwind and relax.

As we settled into our room, I couldn't help but feel a sense of contentment wash over me.

Despite the challenges of college life, having Nandani by my side made everything feel a little easier.

"I'm so glad we both decided to take admission into the same college,"

I remarked, sinking onto my bed with a relieved sigh.

"Imagine having to navigate all of this alone."

Nandani nodded in agreement, flopping down onto her own bed with a tired but satisfied smile.

"Yeah, it's definitely nice having a partner in crime,"

she replied, her eyes twinkling with mischief.

We spent the next few hours gossiping and laughing about our silly experiences from the day, our laughter echoing through the room as we relived each moment with exaggerated enthusiasm.

But amidst the lighthearted banter, Nandani's words gave me pause.

"You know, Alisha, it's been two years since your breakup,"

she said, her tone gentle but probing.

"Don't you think it's time you started dating again?"

I shrugged, feeling a twinge of discomfort at the mention of my failed relationship.

"I guess,"

I replied vaguely, avoiding her gaze.

"But I just haven't found anyone who's... you know, my type."

Nandani raised an eyebrow, a knowing smile playing on her lips.

"Oh, come on, there must be someone,"

she teased, nudging me playfully.

"What about you? Do you like anyone?"

I couldn't help but ask her insisted.

"Well, there is someone I like,"

she admitted, her cheeks flushing slightly.

Intrigued, I leaned in closer, eager to hear more.

"Sachi, kaun hai bhyiii?"

I pressed, unable to contain my curiosity.

Nandani hesitated for a moment before confessing,

"Well, remember that boy we saw at the cafeteria? The one who helped me get a book from the shelf?"

I nodded, recalling the brief encounter.

"Yeah, I remember him. What about him?"

Nandani's eyes sparkled with excitement as she revealed,

"I don't know, there was just something about him. I couldn't stop thinking about him all day."

I couldn't help but laugh at her confession, finding the situation oddly reminiscent of a Bollywood movie.

"Oh my God, were you shooting a movie in your head?"

I teased, unable to contain my amusement.

"It sounds so filmy!"

But Nandani's expression turned serious as she pulled out her phone and quickly scrolled through her contacts.

"Actually, I managed to find him,"

she admitted, showing me the screen.

"His name is Rohan."

Unable to resist the urge to tease her further, I joked,

"You're his Anjali, and he's your Rohan, huh?"

before bursting into laughter at the absurdity of it all.

Nandani playfully snatched her phone back, correcting me with a grin.

"Well, in the movie it's Rahul, but in my story, it's Rohan," she replied with a wink.

We continued to chat and laugh into the night, the conversation eventually giving way to yawns and sleepy smiles as exhaustion finally caught up with us.
